"When I was in Miami, I was thinking that this might be my last year," O'Neal 
told the Daily News. "I did think about it ... walking away at the end of the 
season. But there's no way I'm retiring now. I like these guys. They're 
great. So this isn't my last game here. I'll be coming back next year."

That's good news for Suns fans, while the Nets only gave their fans another 
dose of bad news with a second straight loss that further hurt their chances 
of making the playoffs. With only eight games left, the Nets (31-43) are two 
games behind Atlanta (32-40) for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

這個新聞對於太陽的球迷來說可真的天大的好消息,但相較之下籃網的球迷所得到卻是
個不折不扣的壞消息,對於還在努力爭取季後賽的門票的籃網來說,接連的吞下輸球的結果
就是讓他們跟亞特蘭大老鷹之間的場差來到2場,而且籃網只剩下8場比賽....


"It's not mathematically impossible," said Vince Carter, who led the Nets 
with 32 points but missed three key foul shots down the stretch. "Until it 
is, we still have a chance."

"這並不是不可能的事"幫助球隊32分的新澤西航空說到 "我們錯失了四次關鍵的幾球"
"直到現在.我還是相信我們仍有一絲機會闖入季後賽."

While Carter and his teammates failed at the line, O'Neal delivered as the 
Nets never got closer than five points in the final 4:42. With his team up by 
five with 48 seconds left, O'Neal calmly hit two free throws to finish with 
17 points and seven rebounds in 34 minutes.

當新澤西航空及他的隊友將雙方的分數拉近只剩5分的時候,大歐的適時捍衛讓他們
無法接近太陽一步.尤其在終場前48秒的關鍵兩罰俱中更是讓全場頓時靜了下來.

大歐整場34分鐘一共拿下17分 並且抓下了7個籃板 .......

"I lost a lot of money tonight betting him (on foul shots)," Carter said.

"我輸了不少錢呀...(大歐的罰球賭注)"新澤西航空哭泣的訴說....

What was the wager?

當記者詢問著"什麼賭注?"

"I forgot," Carter said, smiling.

新澤西航空也只能笑著說"我忘了."

The Nets didn't forget to cover Amare Stoudemire. They just couldn't do it, 
as the Suns' MVP candidate had 33 points and 15 boards.

籃網並沒有忘了包夾死小鬼.只是他們跟本沒辦法抵抗這位太陽新任MVP的威力.尤其在全力
的防守之下還被他強拿33分及15籃板.

It's easy to see why O'Neal wants to return for season No.17. The Suns have 
won nine of their last 11 to pull into a tie with the Lakers for first place 
in the Pacific Division. L.A. still owns the tiebreaker, but the Suns 
(49-24), who dropped six of their first nine games after getting Shaq for 
Shawn Marion, are rolling. Despite their past playoff failures, they could 
have their best chance of reaching the Finals for the first time in the Steve 
Nash era.

對於大歐願意繼續他在NBA第17個球技的原因其實是非常的簡單可見.當太陽在11場的比賽
中拿下了9勝.並且追上了湖人一同站在大西洋組的首位.雖然湖人處於對戰優勢"

當太陽得到大歐之後的九場比賽中拿下了6場勝利之後.球隊的磨合也開始朝著正確的方式
進行著.即使太陽以往的季後賽結局都是以失敗做收.但今年或許將會創造出一個"飄髮哥
世紀"的最好時機.

"We've got all the bases covered," said Suns coach Mike D'Antoni, after his 
team split its four-game road swing and finished the Eastern part of its 
schedule with a 24-6 record, best among Western Conference teams. "I thought 
we could have won it all before we made the trade. I think we can win it now. 
But winning the NBA championship is obviously not very easy."

總歸一句話... 贏球是很簡單的事.但拿下總冠軍卻不是一件簡單的事"

Besides playing for a title contender, O'Neal cited obvious economic reasons 
for returning for 2008-09.
"Why would I walk away with two years left on my deal, when I'm getting $20 
million per for the next two seasons?" he said. "As a businessman, that 
ouldn't be a smart move."

還是簡單一點說對於大歐之後的處理 "As a businessman, thatwouldn't be a smart
