One side effect of the Spurs clamp-down defense was Suns turnovers. One side
effect of Suns turnovers was Spurs fastbreak points. San Antonio boasted an
astonishing 23-4 edge in fastbreak points over the usually swift-moving Suns
Tuesday night. If the Suns are to get back to owning the runnin' game,
they've got to protect the ball on their home court.

You're exactly right on the fastbreak points, Banksy.  The Suns didn't look
anything like themselves in that game. Which brings me to my first point.
 The Suns don't need to be the Spurs, they can just be themselves.  They have
Shaq to play in the halfcourt game if they get bogged down but Shaq has shown
that he can run and can be a great help in the fastbreak play as well.
你們絕對要靠快攻，Banksy(?這邊我不懂)。太陽隊在這場比賽裡完全變成大腸隊(囧)。

Grant Hill was once again was forced to play limited minutes as he battles a
painful groin injury. Hill showed his value to the team in 20 minutes
grabbing five rebounds, two steals, and not turning the ball over once.

I admire Grant for gutting out the injury but I wonder if sitting out a game
may help him get all the way better?  But regarding my next point, the Suns
need more "tenacious" defense like the Spurs played in the 2nd half.  The
officials were allowing a more physical game and that obviously helped the
Spurs in their style of play.  With big guys like Brian Skinner, Amare
Stoudemire and Shaquille O'Neal, there is no reason the Suns shouldn't be
able to match that intensity.

points in the final 24 minutes ... After scoring 35 in the first 12. Despite
all the turnovers, the missed shots, the lost rebounds, they still were
within striking distance in crunch time. Its not usual for the Suns to
struggle so much offensively... Its about as likely as a Tim Duncan
three-pointer.

Is there a worse word than "horrible" to describe the third quarter the Suns
had?  I can't think of one but I do know watching that 3rd quarter was
frustrating.  I can't imagine how it must have been for the guys actually
playing the game!  I think the missed free throws in that quarter certainly
contributed to the Suns' demise.  The team missed a combined 11 free throws.
 They lost by 6.  Shaq missed seven of those free throws and the Hack-a-Shaq
strategy employed by Coach Popovich certainly didn't help but Amare missed an
additional 3 free throws.  Steve Nash only got to the line twice so his great
free throw percentage didn't really help in this game.

for the Spurs in San Antonio. Now the Suns have a chance to leave their
bitterness and losses in San Antonio as the series shifts to Phoenix.

  #8: Suns look for more scoring off the bench.

I think the best way to do what you mentioned above and hold home court is to
get more production from their bench.  The Spurs bench scored a combined 40
points.  The Suns?  A measly 13 points.  If the bench is going to put all the
pressure on the Suns' starters, they're going to get tired in the 2nd half
and we could have a debacle in Game 3 that is similar to what happened in
Game 2.

The Spurs second half performance may have convinced people that they are an
unstoppable winning machine who have virtually no weaknesses. Like that
liquid metal guy in Terminator 2. However, 24 minutes should not cancel out
the two regular season wins over San Antonio since the Shaq trade. They
aren't a killing machine sent from the future (I'm 90% sure they aren't) and
the1y can be taken down.
馬刺下半場的表現，也許會讓人覺得他們是無法阻擋的無敵機器人，幾乎沒有弱點。就像

Instead of watching game film of the forgettable third quarter, I suggest
they watch tape of their regular season matchups. But then again, I'm a
sucker for a happy ending.

  #10: Second verse is nothing like the first.

Sure the Spurs can be beat.  It's just going to take a more consistent effort
from Phoenix to get it done.  Which is exactly my last point.  The team comes
out great in the first half but for some reason they can't seem to keep that
going in the 2nd half.  I am not sure if they get complacent, get tired or
just grow cold after shooting so well in the first half but whatever it is,
they aren't going to win this series if they don't become a more consistent
team over the next two games.  With the crowd on their side now, hopefully
the intensity will show for the entire 48 minutes.
馬是絕對可以刺的，只要太陽下半場能堅持下去。這就是我最後一個重點，這場比賽上
半場太陽高高掛，下半場變大腸(囧)。我不知道下半場他們是自滿?累了?還是只是手感冷
掉?但是如果他們仍然虎頭蛇尾，他們就絕對不可能贏得下兩場比賽。在主場球迷的支持下
，希望他們能始終如一的貫徹48分鐘的比賽。
