The Suns keep hinting that Mike D'Antoni is right with the notion that they
are the better team in this first-round series. It's just that Suns fans are
going to have a hard time taking a hint if Phoenix keeps finding a way to
lose playoff games to San Antonio.

冷笑話認為太陽在這一個系列戰裡，我們的實力還是優於對方的。只是對於太陽的球迷

來說，要一直保持這麼樂觀的態度是有難度的，尤其是在前兩戰都輸球的情況下。

The Suns led big and blew it, but without the late drama this time, losing
Game 2 102-96 on Tuesday at AT&T Center to return home in an 0-2 hole.

太陽曾一度的領先著對手，但在最後守城不住，而在對方的主場以96比102落敗了，現在

太陽必須面對0比2的壓力回到主場去。

This one lacked the could-have-won-it moments but was just as lamentable,
particularly with the Suns' big men seeing their foul situation much
improved. Phoenix also posted its worst third quarter (11 points, five on
Shaquille O'Neal free throws). A Suns team that posted 61 points on the NBA's
third-ranked defense in the first half could not score for the first six
minutes of the third quarter, playing like bumper cars with no spacing. Suns
coach D'Antoni and Suns guard Steve Nash said they "panicked."

太陽缺乏能夠一直贏到底的氣勢，這是非常感到可惜的，因為今天太陽的禁區野獸們，

已經把犯規問題給解決了。太陽在第三節時打得非常的糟糕，單節只得到11分而已，其

中五分還是來自於大歐的罰球。太陽能夠在面對到全聯盟排名第三的防守強隊的上半場

"I'm shaking my head," Nash said. "I don't know what happened there . . . We
weren't as smart as we needed to be."

In a game the Suns led by 14, they wound up having to rally from a 17-point
hole with less than eight minutes to go. It wasn't just the offense
disappearing but a defense that again let San Antonio score in the paint (56
of 102 points) with little resistance from the back line. They did rally but
too late, closing the Spurs' lead to five before running out of time.

太陽曾經領先到14分之多，但到了比賽剩下不到八分鐘時，他們竟然有17分的落後。這

不僅僅是攻擊火力熄火而已，甚至是我們的防守都出現了問題，我們的後場防線讓他們

The Suns were supposed to be the deeper, more balanced squad in this series.
The theory is that if the Suns could do a manageable job on the Spurs' "Big
Three," keeping at least one from a heavy impact, the Spurs could not score
with the Suns.

太陽應該要在這一個系列戰中，發揮他們的板凳實力，與內外戰力的平衡。而結論是，

如果太陽能夠至少把馬刺的三巨頭中的其中一人給壓制好的話，那馬刺的得分一定會被

受限住。

But with Grant Hill's injury and Leandro Barbosa's ineffectiveness against
the Spurs, the Suns looked like the team struggling to find some weapons.

但因為Hill的傷勢困擾與小巴的隱形，這使得太陽必須去尋找更多的武器來擊敗對手。

Hill could play only five second-half minutes with his midsection pain
worsening and was scoreless in the game. Barbosa went scoreless too - 0 for 7
from the field to make him a 32.9 percent shooter in the past 12
regular-season and postseason games against San Antonio.

"It was a very frustrating night for me," Barbosa said.

When the game turned, it was San Antonio's supporting cast driving the
effort. After only three first-half points from players other than the Spurs'
three stars, magic dust came off Spurs coach Gregg Popovich's halftime chalk
and the role players stepped up. They set screen upon screen to get Michael
Finley going, and he made their first four shots of the third while Phoenix
came up empty on its first 11 possessions. In all a 61-50 second-quarter lead
became a 73-71 third-quarter hole.

"I'm at a lack of words right now," Phoenix's Raja Bell said. "I don't know
if anybody knows why that's happened to us the last two games. I don't know
if we've lost focus at halftime."

Tony Parker (32 points), Manu Ginobili (29 points) and Tim Duncan (18 points)
outscored the Suns trio of Amaré Stoudemire (33 points), Nash (23 points)
and O'Neal (19 points).

阿罵得了33分，Nash得了23分，大歐也有19分的進帳。

Stoudemire scored eight after halftime as the Spurs threw multiple defenders
at him and Nash. The Spurs' supporting cast offered 20 second-half points.

阿罵在下半場的時候只得到8分而已，因為對方派更多人去包圍他與Nash。對方的替補

陣容也在下半場得到了20分。

"The only reason they won is they got sparks from the players they need,"
Stoudemire said. "Got a couple stops from Kurt (Thomas) and a couple solid
baskets from Mike Finley. . . . They got the lead and then the momentum was
on their side from that point on."
