At the beginning of the week, the Suns were squabbling — but at least they
were healthy.
在這星期剛開始時，隊上因為一些爭紛而使得氣氛很不好，但至少那時候我們是沒有
任何的病痛的。
But by Thursday night in Salt Lake City, Phoenix was down three starters and
had just nine healthy bodies for their game with the Jazz.
但在對上爵士的比賽，太陽缺少了三位主力先發，只能以9名球員的輪替來對戰爵士。
With Grant Hill already on the shelf for two to three weeks following his
appendectomy on Wednesday, the Suns played without guard Steve Nash — who
stayed back in Phoenix with a nasty case of the stomach flu — and forward
Shawn Marion (right elbow contusion).
Hill因為盲腸切除手術，必須躺在病床上休養兩到三個星期。Nash則是得了腸胃炎而
必須要待在鳳凰城休息。Marion是由於右手肘受傷而無法出賽。
Suns coach Mike D’Antoni said Nash was in a hospital emergency room a few
hours after leaving Wednesday’s win over Indiana to receive an IV fluid bag
to counteract dehydration from vomiting and diarrhea. Nash said he felt
better Thursday morning and toyed with the idea of following the team to Salt
Lake City, but trainer Aaron Nelson nixed the plan.
冷笑話說:"在對上溜馬的比賽之後，Nash待在急診室裡好幾個小時，由於嘔吐與腹瀉所
造成的脫水情況，Nash必須要接受靜脈點滴注射來康復。"
Nash說:"他在星期四早上已經感到好多了，甚至還考慮說想要跟球隊一起前往猶他，

Marion took a nasty fall on his right shoulder and elbow in the fourth
quarter of the 129-122 overtime win over the Pacers, but was able to finish
the game. X-rays on both areas were negative, but Marion is still very sore —
he was unable to shoot a basketball.
Marion在對上溜馬的第四節時，其實他的右肩與右手肘就感到相當的不舒服了，但Marion
還是將整場比賽給打完了。在照射X光片檢查之後，應該是沒有什麼大礙，但Marion仍然
感覺到些許的疼痛，甚至痛到無法投籃。
The Suns have summoned guard D.J. Strawberry a day early from Albuquerque of
the NBA Developmental League to join the team, but rookie Alando Tucker left
to join the Thunderbirds so the Suns still had only nine players.
太陽把小草莓從發展聯盟中給調了回來，但是又把Tucker送回了發展聯盟，所以在對上
爵士的比賽中，總共也只有9位球員能上場而已。
Leandro Barbosa started in place of Nash, while Raja Bell shifted to the
small forward spot and Marcus Banks joined Barbosa in the backcourt.
在對上爵士的比賽，小巴代替了Nash的位置，Bell則是替代Hill的位置打SF，銀行也
成為了先發的一員。
SUNS LOSE ABC GAME
The NBA announced Thursday that the scheduled Jan. 27 national telecast of
the Suns game with the Bulls in Chicago has been replaced by an
Orlando-Boston matchup. The game will still be played in the afternoon (11
a.m. Arizona time) and the Suns were looking into ways to allow the game to
still be broadcast locally.
The Suns still have three other Sunday ABC games — all of them at home —
against Detroit (Feb. 24), San Antonio (March 9) and Dallas (April 6).
這裡似乎是說由ABC轉播的比賽中，太陽還沒有贏過任何一場，沒什麼重要性，
所以沒有全翻，有興趣的人自己看。(太陽專打破魔咒啊(茶))
ALL-STAR VOTING CLOSES
In the fourth and final update before the All-Star starters are announced
Jan. 24, all of the Suns remained out of the starting lineup.
Amaré Stoudemire (685,772) is a comfortable second among Western centers but
well behind perennial starter Yao Ming of Houston (1,255,263). Steve Nash,
who also is expected to be named as a reserve to the team with Stoudemire, is
fourth among Western guards (808,995), well behind starters Kobe Bryant
(1,441,333) and Tracy McGrady (907,639). Shawn Marion, who is fifth among the
forwards (345,400), also is in the running for a reserve spot.
