The second round of interviews to fill the Suns' head-coaching job began
Thursday, but that does not mean the first round is over.

第2輪的接任教練面談即將開始,但不表示之前第一輪的人都沒有機會


General Manager Steve Kerr met for a second time with Utah Jazz assistant
Tyrone Corbin on Thursday and will have a second interview today with Houston
Rockets lead assistant Elston Turner. The meetings also were convenient, with
all parties in Orlando for the NBA predraft camp.

A second interview with Detroit Pistons lead assistant Terry Porter is
planned but has not been scheduled because they are in the Eastern Conference
finals. Phoenix also could meet with Lakers assistant Brian Shaw again

The Suns hope to interview San Antonio Spurs lead assistant Mike Budenholzer
soon, and other names might surface.

太陽希望可以儘快與馬刺首席助理教練Mike Budenholzer進行面談

The Suns talked to Doug Collins about coaching the Suns, but sources
confirmed Thursday that the TNT analyst will be the Chicago Bulls' next
coach. Collins had said he would not return to coaching. Then the Bulls won
the NBA draft lottery and own the No. 1 overall pick. Many of Collins'
friends have said that he wanted to coach again and was looking for the right
spot.

這段大部份是指某人本來說他不會在重返NBA執教,但在公牛走好運抽到籤王之後,開始
藉由朋友放出風聲說他非常期待能重返NBA執掌教練一職.....

Suns center Shaquille O'Neal on Thursday talked with a Chicago radio show.

"In my experience, it takes two or three years to get a group of guys
together that could possibly get it done," O'Neal said. "When I was in
Orlando, we had a group of guys who couldn't get it there, and we added the
piece in Horace Grant and it took us over the top. I think I was the piece
that they (the Suns) were missing. Next year, we'll have a full season, and
things look pretty good.

"以我的經驗來看,一支需要磨合的球隊需要2~3年的時間才可以變化成為"完全體"大歐如
是說 "當我還在Orlando的時 即使當時隊上擁有一堆好手卻一事無成,直到眼鏡俠的加入
之後才讓我們順利的攻頂

OS:嗯...最後還是失敗了!  最重要的是Nash跟Hill還能有幾年可以等?!

"我認為我就是太陽所欠缺的那一片冠軍拼圖,明年我們將有一個完整的球季來證明,而未來
將是非常的看好."

He called Amaré Stoudemire the NBA's most underrated player, said the
decision to fine floppers is too late and revealed why he dubbed himself "The
Big Cactus."

總之他開始自誇....

"If you show anybody a cactus, they know what it is worldwide," O'Neal said.
"There are 100 different types of cactus. Nobody knows its origin. You don't
have to give it water, but it's known worldwide. And if you grab one, you
will get hurt."

總之誰知道以後"某人"會變成老鷹還是變成小雞?!

The NBA competition committee discussed off-the-ball intentional fouls but
decided against changing anything to discourage the "Hack-a-Shaq" strategy,
ESPN.com said. San Antonio used it often in the playoffs, when O'Neal made 32
of 64 free throws.

NBA針對太陽與馬刺的第一輪比賽中的"駭客"戰術提出一些討論 大歐很爭氣的在64次的
罰球僅僅投進32球.... (老實說.. 有5成我已經很滿意了 更重要的是關鍵不在罰球!)

"In the end, there wasn't enough support to change it," NBA Executive Vice
President of Basketball Operations Stu Jackson told ESPN.com. "There was a
feeling that by changing the rule you would be . . . rewarding a player for a
lack of skill by allowing him to stay in the game."


雖然很多人不贊成類似的戰術,但是卻無法因此而改變什麼....
