After Suns coach Mike D'Antoni, General Manager Steve Kerr and Managing
Partner Robert Sarver met for more than two hours Friday, D'Antoni still is
Phoenix's coach.

冷笑話與科科、還有老板在星期五超過兩小時的面談之後，冷笑話依然是太陽的總教練。





That status remains unchanged, because the Suns brass is not done meeting
yet. They agreed to chew on what was discussed Friday and meet again next
week.


目前的情況尚未有任何的改變，因為太陽的高層人員並未把這次的會談作給總結。他們
同意先經過一段時間，讓彼此去想想星期五他們所討論的事，並且決定在下個星期再有
一次的會談。


"We had a really good, productive meeting and lunch," Kerr said after the
Suns bosses met in a private room of Cooper'stown, a downtown restaurant near
US Airways Center. "There isn't any resolution, nor did I expect one."


"我們在會談中有非常好的收穫，並且享受了一頓美好的午餐，"科科在與太陽老板的
古伯鎮中的私人房間裡進行會談，且在航空中心附近商業區裡的一間餐廳裡吃完飯後

Sarver and D'Antoni declined comment.

Kerr said the three do not have to return with any final decisions when they
get back together next week. No date was set for that meeting.


科科說當他們三人在下星期一起回來的時候，他們也不會回答說他們最後所作出的決定
是什麼。下一次的會談還尚未決定好是哪一天。


"It might just continue from there," Kerr said. "We just have to hash it out.
We talked about some stuff, and I think it's good to have time to think about
all of that."

 。我們聊了一些瑣事，我認為這對我們來說是好的，因為讓我們有足夠時間去把所有的

Since the Suns' season ended Tuesday, Kerr repeatedly has said he wants
D'Antoni to return as long as they can come to some agreement on how to
improve the team. D'Antoni also has expressed a desire to continue coaching
the Suns if he has the front office's full support.


自從在星期四太陽結束了這個賽季之後，科科多次聲明說他想要冷笑話先回來，一起討
論如何改善太陽這支隊伍。冷笑話也說他非常想要繼續擔任太陽總教練的位子，但前提
是高層人員必須要給他全力的支持。


D'Antoni also is believed to have interest from other teams if he becomes
available. Kerr has said that he would not grant permission for another team
to talk to D'Antoni about a coaching job.


冷笑話也相信其它的球隊會對他有興趣，如果他對球隊有幫助的話。科科說他並不會允
許其它球隊來跟冷笑話述說關於球隊教練職責一事。




D'Antoni has two years and $8.5 million remaining on his contract. The last
year of that deal came as a result of an extension D'Antoni received in March
2006, when he took on the roles of vice president and general manager when
Bryan Colangelo left.

在冷笑話剩下的合約裡還有兩年850萬。這一筆交易的最後一年是冷笑話在2006年3月時，
所答應延長的，當時是在Bryan Colangelo離開之後，並且冷笑話接下副總裁與總經理的
位子。


D'Antoni's contract is fully offset. That means in the event of his
departure, whatever salary D'Antoni receives elsewhere would be deducted from
the amount the Suns owe him. However, that would occur only if D'Antoni has
another job lined up. The Suns are not considering firing D'Antoni or buying
out his contract.

冷笑話的合約是可以被抵消的。它的意思就是說當冷笑話離開太陽，而到了另外一支
球隊時，冷笑話領的薪資會抵消掉太陽所欠他的。無論如何，這種情況只會在冷笑話
有了另外一份工作時才會發生。太陽內部人員並不打算炒掉冷笑話，或者是買斷他的
合約。







Kerr's focus is to make things work and have D'Antoni stay. If changes to
areas such as bench staffing, defensive practices and personnel use can't be
agreed upon, D'Antoni likely would not return. He is unlikely to take a
coaching hiatus.


科科的觀點是想要做出某些決策，並且也希望冷笑話能夠留下來。至於想要改變的地方
，就如同是"板凳人員的調度"、"防守方面的練習"、"人事部門的使用"，但如果冷笑話
無法與科科取得一致意見的話，冷笑話很可能就不會再回來太陽。總教練的位子並定會
空出來。

‧ Dallas. An NBA source said he would be the Mavericks' top choice, but Dirk
Nowitzki's comments about not returning to a system like Don Nelson's might
work against D'Antoni.


小牛 : 一份NBA的報導說小牛可能會是冷笑話的首選，但是司機發表說他並不想要再回
       歸到老尼的那種球隊系統，所以這勢必會影響到冷笑話的來到。


‧ Chicago. ESPN.com reported that D'Antoni is intrigued by the Bulls'
opening, but others believe he would not be a front-runner there. Also, Kerr
and Bulls GM John Paxson are good friends.


公牛 : ESPN網站報導說冷笑話對公牛的總教練位子非常有興趣，但其它人相信冷笑話
       並不會是公牛隊的首選人物。並且科科與公牛的總經理"John Paxson"是好朋友。




‧ New York. The Knicks would be interested, but Mark Jackson probably is at
the top of GM Donnie Walsh's list.


尼克 : 冷笑話對尼克也還蠻有興趣的，但"Mark Jackson"才是尼克的首選。


‧ Toronto. It is not close to being as plausible as perceived. There is no
opening, and Colangelo said there won't be. Beyond that, it is still no sure
thing that D'Antoni would want the job.


暴龍 : 這並不像之前報導說的如此可信。暴龍這裡已經沒有機會能給冷笑話了
       ，並且Colangelo說冷笑話不可能會來。並且，也沒什麼消息能夠明確的
       指出冷笑話想要來擔任暴龍總教練的職位。
