[外電] Team faces upcoming roster decisions

With five days until the roster must be set and a week until the
regular-season opener at San Antonio, the Suns face some tough decisions.

面對即將來到的開幕賽及馬刺,這個禮拜必須決定好開季的最後球員名單,即使是件
非常困難的事.

Roster issues pertain to the Oct. 31 deadline on Alando Tucker's $1.07
million team option for 2009-10 and what to do with guards Sean Singletary
and Robert Hite.

現在列入最後球員名單上有Tucker(球隊選擇權) 另外還有Singletary和Robert Hite.

The tougher decision will be with Hite. Tucker's third-year salary is a
favorable number, and his work ethic and improvement also has drawn favor.

非常困難的決定之中,Tucker少少的第三年薪資是個非常不錯的選擇,另外他對球賽
的投入也是一個不錯的決定之一.

"He's somebody we believe in for our future," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr
said.

"我確認他將會我們的未來之一,"科科總管如是說.

The roster is tricky. The Suns have 14 players, with Singletary and Hite
being the only ones whose deals are not fully guaranteed. Singletary's
contract, an NBA low at $442,114, is guaranteed if he remains on the roster,
which seems probable considering his position and the Suns' luxury-tax
situation.

太陽現在的14位球員名單之中,只有Singletary和Hite是未保障合約.但Singletary的合
約薪資是NBA規定的最低保障薪資.

如果將Singletary留在球員名單中.太陽必須要慎重考慮"豪華稅"的問題

"Sean's advantage is that he's a true point," Kerr said. "Assuming Steve
(Nash) is going to miss games and we start Goran (Dragic), it makes a lot of
sense to have another point guard."

"Sean最大的優勢是他是一個真正的控衛."科科總管說."假如洋蔥哥因傷無法趕上開賽.
而我們的先發控球是Dragic的時候.他將會是另一位真正的控衛.

Keeping Singletary puts the roster at the 13-player minimum. Hite's play is
making that call a lot tougher. The 6-foot-2 guard has shown offensive
explosion and leaping ability.

Hite很好! Hite跳的非常的高! Hite的表現讓許多人驚訝!就是因為他的表現
才讓最後的球員名單上產生了一些困難度.

Hite would command a second-year salary of $711, 517, costing the Suns about
$1 million with the tax.

Hite的第二年的薪水.....  

"He's fearless," Kerr said of Hite. "He shoots well, and he's very athletic.
I'd love to keep both."

"他根本不知道害怕是什麼東西."科科總管又說."他的投射非常的讓人舒服.他那令人
驚豔的運動力.讓我愛死他了.讓我真的想把他們兩個都留下來."

The rotation decisions won't be easy, either. If Porter goes with the
nine-man mix he wants, someone among the second unit (Dragic, Leandro
Barbosa, Grant Hill or Matt Barnes, Boris Diaw and Robin Lopez) will sit.

決定開季的球員名單不是件容易的事.假使Porter決定採用他所希望的9人輪流的方式.
Dragic,小巴,Hill或Barnes,好屌,外加Lopez弟將會以替補的方式上場.

There might be times when injuries make the issue moot. Lopez also could sit
if Shaquille O'Neal is going strong, and Barbosa could take over for Dragic
at point guard with Hill's help.

總之...Lopez弟將會是大歐的強力後援.而小巴將會以控衛的身份跟Hill提供Dragic有
力的幫助.

"A lot of it is going to depend on night-to-night situations," Suns coach
Terry Porter said. "There may be nights I do go to 10."

"最多的時候還是要決定在於每晚球員個人的臨場發揮."Terry Porter說"其實搞不好我會
用到10人輪替喔!!!"

Skinner with Clippers
皮膚人在快艇

Former Suns center Brian Skinner joined the Clippers this summer for a
veteran-minimum deal of $1.26 million.

跟快艇簽下合約的皮膚人.

"I was hoping to stay (in Phoenix)," Skinner said. "What's said and what's
done is two different things. Everyone knew they were going to draft a big
(Lopez)."

"我想留在太陽."皮膚人說"但是不管你怎麼說.現實終究是非常殘酷的.大家都知道太陽
還要搞一位大個子來(Lopez弟)"

He said the Clippers offered a better opportunity after he saw his Suns
playing time disappear in February, especially after O'Neal's arrival.

快艇很痛快的開出一張不錯的合約給著面對大歐來到之後.就一直看不到任何上場機會
的皮膚人.

Diaw will sign autographs Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at The RoomStore at 13637 N.
Tatum Blvd. in Phoenix.

屌將會在某天某時在某某街舉辦簽名大會?!(誤)



最後... 好久沒翻外電了 球季結束前僅存的P幣也剩下個位數了...
