Suns send Tsakalidis, Outlaw to Memphis

After Tuesday morning's training camp-opening workout, coach Frank Johnson
said the Suns were committed to Jake Tsakalidis as the club's starting center.
在週二早上練球完畢後，喜歡跳來跳去的教練老大Frank Johnson表示要讓那個
即使不受傷也可能會讓冷板凳變很熱的大傑克打先發中鋒。
"We're going to give him every opportunity to be there," Johnson said.
教練說：「我們準備要讓他即使不是對上湖人也能有那麼多的上場時間。」
But even before the afternoon practice, Tsakalidis was on his way to Memphis
along with forward Bo Outlaw as part of a five-player deal that brings the
Suns' backup point guard Brevin Knight and two developing big men.
見鬼的是，在下午練球開始前，大傑克就準備和波波一起打包前往灰熊厲害的曼菲斯

Along with Knight, the Suns got 7-foot-2, 240-pound Polish-born center
Cezary Trybanski and former Illinois forward Robert Archibald.

Trybanski played in 15 games as a rookie last season and totaled 14 points
and 14 rebounds in 86 minutes of playing time. Archibald got even less action,
appearing in 12 games. He had 19 points and 17 rebounds in his season-total
of 72 minutes.

But the move may have been made for financial reasons as much as for
basketball purposes.

Outlaw has two years remaining on his contract, including the upcoming season,
which would pay him $5.955 million and $5.355 million. Tsakalidis has two
years remaining on his contract, paying $1.58 million this season and $2.32
million next season.
奧露先生還有兩年合約（含這一季），薪水分別是595萬5千和535萬5千。
大傑克也是還有兩年約，本季領158萬，下季是232萬。
Archibald does not have any guaranteed money on a second-round minimum deal;
Trybanski is to be paid $1.6 million this season and $1.76 next season.

Finally, Knight is in the final year of his contract, which will pay $5
million.
而騎士先生今年是合約的最後一年，薪水500萬。
Thus, at the end of this season the Suns could clear about $6 million from
their salary cap. The difference could keep the Suns below the league's
so-called "luxury tax threshold" which charges a dollar-for-dollar penalty
for teams that exceed the salary cap by too much.
因此啊，本季結束後，老闆可以清掉600萬的薪資空間。
這600萬雖然對某G先生來說沒什麼，可是對咱們的老闆來說，少這600萬可以讓薪資

Tsakalidis played in only 33 games for the suns last season before being
sidelined by a back injury that required surgery. He recently played for
the Greek National Team in the European Championships.

The 7-foot-2 Tsakalidis, whom the Suns took with the 25th pick of the first
round in the 2000 NBA draft, averaged 5.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in his
three seasons with the club.
大傑克在2000年的選秀會第一輪第25順位被太陽挑中，在太陽的三年平均每場
得5.8分、抓4.7個籃板。
The Suns have been in the market for a backup point guard but had indicated
that Leandro Barbosa, whom they obtained in a draft-day trade with San Antonio,
would fill the role. The trade for Knight indicates the club wasn't so sure
about Barbosa.
雖然說我們一直在尋找一個替補控衛，不過咱們已經在選秀會當天從SA換來巴布殺了。
換來騎士先生的舉動可能代表咱們老闆或教練覺得巴西生產的手套不太好用，
他們比較喜歡國貨。
Knight, who played collegiately at Stanford, is entering his seventh NBA
season and has averaged 7.6 points and 6.6 assists a game. He saw limited
duty with the Grizzlies last season, averaging 3.9 points and 4.2 assists.
史丹佛大學畢業的騎士先生正要進入他在NBA的第七個球季，
前六季平均得7.6分、6.6個助攻。
上季在灰熊隊他的任務不重，平均只有3.9分和4.2助攻。
