 consecutive free throws ended at 41. He missed five of nine attempts
 in the game against the Orlando Magic. "After I missed one, I just
 threw the rest up there," he said . . . Vandeweghe said the Nuggets
 might take a look at Japanese point guard Yuta Tabuse when teams can
 begin signing players to 10-day contracts Jan. 5. Tabuse, waived by
 Phoenix last week, was in training camp with the Nuggets before the
 2003-04 season.
