The Hornets were granted an exemption by the NBA on Thursday that will allow them to have four players on the injured list. But Jamaal Magloire won't be added to the list with a broken right ring finger until Saturday, the same day the team expects a targeted Continental Basketball Association player to undergo a physical and sign a contract. Baron Davis, Rodney Rogers and Jamal Mashburn are already on the injured list. Meanwhile, trade rumors have surfaced out of New Jersey, where the Nets also are struggling. The Hornets have started to season 1-13, and the Nets are 3-12. They are shopping center Aaron Williams, who played for Scott in New Jersey for three seasons, but has not played much this season, averaging 2.5 points per game. "I know there's been lots of speculation about that, but at this point he's not in the picture. Right now, we're not going to go in that direction." said Hornets general manager Allan Bristow. "There's no doubt about it -- Aaron could fit our system," Scott said of Williams, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound 10-year veteran. "It just depends, what would New Jersey want back for him? I love Aaron Williams. He's a great basketball player, but he's a greater person. Is it something we would be interested in? Probably so. It just depends on if it's the right thing. I know they're shopping a few players over there. "I don't think we necessarily have to (make a trade). Obviously, Allan is exploring every opportunity to try to make our team better." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.117.190.7
