Concerto No.5 also differs considerably in the version recorded here, which is taken from a set of parts copied by Bach's pupil Altnickol. The Brandenburg version has (in addition to be a number of added ornamental details) a slightly longer final movement, and, more drastically, a vastly expanded solo harpsichord episode towards the end of the first movement.
