Marson & Donald 前進奧運

[Carreras (古典愛樂)]

        Phillies prospects Lou Marson and Jason Donald have been selected

        to play for Team USA from Aug. 8-24 at the Beijing Olympics.


        Marson (C) and Donald (SS), both play for double-A Reading.

        Donald, the organization's 3rd-round pick in 2006, is hitting

       .301 with 16 2B, three 3B, 12 HR and 47 RBI at the all-star break.

        Marson, the team's 4th-round pick in 2004, is hitting .321

        and leading the Eastern League with a .442 on-base percentage.

        He also has 16 2B, four HR and 45 RBI.

        Gulf Coast League Phillies manager Roly de Armas will be a coach

        on the team managed by Davey Johnson.
