It's Reds October 紅人的10月..?!

It's the Reds. After all those nutty playoff scenarios, it's still the Reds
in the National League Division Series.

就是紅人隊啦,在經過一番波折後,咱家最終還是要在NLDS對上紅人.

My initial thoughts? It favors the Phillies, who went 5-2 against the Reds
this year. But I don't see a sweep. I don't see a cakewalk. The Phillies lost
2 of 3 in Cincinnati, but swept them in four games at Citizens Bank Park. But
those games were crazy.

我的最初看法？Phillies佔上風,兩隊本季教手記錄為5-2.但我不認為Phillies會橫掃紅人
這也不會是一個輕鬆的系列賽.費城人在紅人主場輸了兩場,在家裡頭卻橫掃了對手.只不過
那4場比賽費城卻是贏的驚險.

They won in 12 innings on July 8, 4-3, when Brian Schneider hit a
game-winning homer. They won in 10 innings on July 9, 9-7, when the Phillies
scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth inning (Greg Dobbs and Cody Ransom
homered in that inning) to tie the game. Ryan Howard then hit a game-winning
homer in the 10th. They won in 11 innings on July 10, 1-0, when they broke up
Travis Wood's perfect game in the ninth and Jimmy Rollins knocked in the
winning run in the 10th. They won on July 11, 1-0, when Cole Hamels threw 7
2/3 scoreless innings.

在7月8號,費城靠著史耐德大叔的再見全壘打在延長賽12局氣走了紅人隊.7月9號,費城先是
奇蹟的在9下拿下6分將比賽逼近延長賽(大伯跟Cody Ransom都在該半局擊出HR),再靠著瞎
眼猴的再見HR拿下勝利.7月10號,我們差點被木頭給Perfect game,但已經改行作音樂的
JRo在10局的再見安打讓我們贏得比賽.最後在7月11號,靠著爆氣的黑魔使7又2/3的無失分
好投讓我們在家裡橫掃了紅人.

Four victories, but none of them easy. This series might be the same way.

四場勝利,但沒有一場贏的夠"水氣",而我眼中的NLDS大概也就是這個樣子...

以下是Pitching matchup的分析:

Roy Halladay vs. Edinson Volquez

Halladay is 21-10 with a 2.44 ERA this season. He is the National League Cy
Young favorite. He leads the league with 21 wins, four shutouts, nine
complete games, 250 2/3 innings and a 7.3 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He is
second in the league with 219 strikeouts and third with a 2.44 ERA. He threw
a perfect game May 29 in Florida.

Doc的豐功偉業不再贅述,簡單四個字：不...不下呂布

Volquez returned from his 2009 elbow surgery following the All-Star break. He
went 4-3 with a 4.31 ERA in 12 starts, but is 1-1 with a 1.95 ERA in his last
four. He is 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA in two career starts against the Phillies.

而對手愛迪生自2009年進場大修後在全星星賽後重新趟上投手丘,留下的戰績為4-3,ERA為
4.31.But..最重要的就是這個BUT,他球季結束前的最後兩次先發為1-1,ERA 1.95,另外生
涯對上費城的戰績為2-0, 0.73 ERA.
(Edison: 對上費城就爆氣!!咬我阿~~~)

Verdict: How can you pick against Halladay in Game 1 at home? There might not
be three runs scored by both teams, but the Phillies will score more.

簡評：雖說Edison對上費城會爆氣,但是當Doc主投時我想不出任何費城會輸的的理由.這會
是一場低比分的比賽,但是費城應該會得比較多分.
個人短評：會輸的理由可多了,ex.Doc宵夜請不夠,
眾打者：啊就吃不飽咩...(剃牙)

Roy Oswalt vs. Bronson Arroyo

Oswalt (13-13, 2.76 ERA) is 23-3 with a 2.81 ERA in 34 career appearances
against the Reds. Only eight pitchers in baseball history have more wins
against the Reds than Oswalt: Warren Spahn (44), Phil Niekro (29), Lew
Burdette (28), Tom Glavine (27), Johnny Podres (25), Greg Maddux (24), Juan
Marichal (24) and Robin Roberts (24).

推土機生涯對上紅人34場戰績為23-3 2.81的ERA,歷史上只有8位投手對紅人的戰績比他還
好(8位..?!好像有點多...)

Arroyo (17-10, 3.88 ERA) is 1-5 with a 5.54 ERA in eight appearances against
the Phillies.

至於藥王對上費城的戰績可就沒那麼精采了,1-5以及5.54 ERA.

Verdict: The edge goes to Oswalt. Not only does he have tremendous success
against the Reds, but he also is 9-0 with a 2.10 ERA in 10 career starts
against Citizens Bank Park. I'm not sure why the Reds didn't start Wood in
Game 2. He's a lefty, and the Phillies have a lineup loaded with lefties. And
he obviously pitched well against them in July. That could be a mistake.

簡評：推土機當然佔有優勢.推土機不但生涯對上紅人的戰績很好,本季在費城主場投的更
是得心應手(9-0, 2.10 ERA).我很驚訝紅人並沒有在第二場用上木頭.他不僅是左投,更在7
月對上費城時留下令人驚艷的表現.
個人短評：我們家什麼都不會,就是專會砸破大家的眼鏡,越是看起來promising的比賽我們
就越會搞砸...所以,也不用太放心....

Cole Hamels vs. Johnny Cueto

Hamels (12-11, 3.06 ERA) made his big-league debut in 2006 in Cincinnati. He
allowed one hit in five innings and has not stopped beating the Reds since.
Hamels is 6-0 with a 1.07 ERA in seven starts against Cincinnati, including
3-0 with a 1.67 ERA in four starts at Great American Ball Park.

黑魔使對上紅人也是處於爆氣的狀態,生涯6-0,1.07 ERA(客場3-0,1.67 ERA)

Cueto (12-7, 3.64 ERA) is 1-2 with a 5.96 ERA in four starts against the
Phillies, but he had two awful starts against them in 2009 and two brilliant
starts against them this season. Cueto allowed just 10 hits and two earned
runs in 15 innings against the Phillies this season. So forget those career
numbers.

酷頭生涯面對費城4場,留下了1-2 5.96 ERA的戰績.但今年的酷頭可不一樣,面對費城的15
局投球裡只被擊出了10支安打,2分的自責分.所以說呢,忘了他生涯的對戰戰績吧..

Verdict: Like I said, I don't see a sweep. So because Hamels is used to
pitching without much run support, I will say Hamels pitches brilliantly in
Game 3, but loses a close one.

簡評：就如同我一開始說的,橫掃應該不會發生,黑魔使會一如往常的給我們一場優質先發,
但是我們眾家打者仍然會睡的很香,以致於我們輸掉一場比分很接近的比賽.

That said, I believe the Phillies will win the series. And just like they did
in 2008 against Milwaukee and 2009 against Colorado, they will do it in four
games. And if they sweep? Hey, that means an extra day at home in my own bed.
I won't complain.

不過呢,我相信費城還是能夠在這個系列賽勝出,但就如同08以及09年一般,他們應該會在第
四戰結束這個series.但若是Sweep真的發生了,那代表大家都可以睡的飽一點囉.
