       好啦 翻這個沒什麼意義 不過就當作是給奧斯華的一個復出禮物吧

       (順便讓我練習一下 orz 英文不大好

The Phillies have shown off their premier arms on the Giants'
home mound this weekend, taking the first three of a four-game
meeting between two of the National League's elite pitching staffs.




       在兩邊投手群都是堅強陣容的情況下 費城拿下了三場

       而且是在對方主場噢 這也讓我們在今年前六場對戰贏了四場


       


On Sunday, the Giants are bringing their best to that mound
for the finale with two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum
taking the ball. But with Roy Oswalt making his return for the Phils,
the Giants will be tested again to find a way to score runs.

Cole Hamels' gem against the Giants on Saturday clinched the series
for the Phillies, who now have won a season-high nine consecutive games
and 12 of their last 13 series. The Giants have lost eight of their
last nine since taking two of three in Philadelphia last week.

The Phillies are obviously clicking in a lot of areas,
but if Oswalt can deliver another strong start against a
Giants offense that continues to struggle, the strongest team
in the National League would be that much stronger.

Oswalt pitched through back pain during the early portion
of the season, going 4-6 with a 3.79 ERA over 13 starts.
He's hoping for a repeat of his performance in 2010,
in which he won seven straight decisions to end the regular season.

"Hopefully I can get on a run like I did last year.That'd be great,"
Oswalt said. "The thing about baseball is that you never know
what's going to happen until you get out there."

With similar wiry frames that deliver powerful repertoires,
Lincecum and Oswalt have been apt comparisons since Lincecum
broke into the Majors in 2007. Last year, Lincecum had the upper
hand in three meetings against Oswalt, all of which came while
Oswalt was with the Astros -- Lincecum boasting a 0.39 ERA in those meetings.

But these are the Phillies' hitters. Against them, Lincecum
has a victory at Philadelphia just last week, allowing three
hits in six shutout innings.

It's the Giants' hitters that are of concern in San Francisco.
Including their one-spot Saturday, the Giants have scored fewer
than three runs in 12 of their last 16 games.
Their leadoff hitters have hit .240 on the season, and the Giants
are 16-for-103 with runners in scoring position over their last 16
games, hitless in 16 such at-bats thus far in the series.

Phillies: Madson back with club 
Phillies closer Ryan Madson rejoined the team before Saturday's
game, but he wasn't needed, as Hamels wrapped up his second
complete game of the season.


       咩的神生完孩子回來囉！

Madson had been away since Wednesday because of the birth of
his child, but with Cliff Lee and Hamels going the distance and
the Phillies pulling away for victory Friday night, he wasn't missed.


To make room for Madson, the Phillies designated right-hander
Scott Mathieson for assignment.

During their nine-game winning streak, the Phillies are batting
.293 with 38 extra-base hits, have a 2.39 ERA and have outscored
their opponents 53-24.

Giants: Romo making history with each out
After pitching a spotless two-thirds of an inning Saturday,
reliever Sergio Romo has retired the last 31 batters he has faced,
the longest such streak for the Giants since 1974. With his Saturday
performance, he surpassed a 29-hitter streak by Craig Lefferts in 1989.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, the all-time NL record for most
 consecutive batters retired in a single season is 41 by former
Giant Jim Barr (Aug. 23-29, 1972).

‧ With right-hander Oswalt on the mound, the Giants likely will go
 with Andres Torres in the leadoff spot and Nate Schierholtz in
the lineup. Schierholtz entered a pinch-hit appearance Saturday
with just four hits in his last 37 at-bats, but he delivered an
eighth-inning single.

‧ The Phillies clinched the season series, now leading it 4-2
with only Sunday's game remaining.


       對上巨人 目前四勝二敗  暫時領先

‧ After Sunday's finale, the Phillies continue their West Coast
trip by visiting the Dodgers for three games. They head into
Sunday's game with an 18-7 mark vs. the NL West.


       這場打完後  緊接著是郭56的道奇隊  今年對國西打得不錯

       再下個系列戰就是王葛格了

‧ The Giants will play host to the Pirates for a three-game
set starting Monday, to wrap up a 10-game homestand. They're
now 1-6 on the homestand, which began against NL West foe Arizona.
 

       巨人打完我們後  在家迎接最近有點慘的海盜

       雖然他們跟海盜一樣  有種被別隊當主場的辦勢 ...
