That's why he left the Shock on Monday three games into the season. And he
will be an NBA coach some day in a league hungry for new coaching blood.
這個原因已經充分地說明了為什麼震動隊在這個球季才剛開打3場比賽，他就選擇辭去
震動隊總教練一職。而聯盟總是希望會有不同的教練新血加入，他總有一天會擔任NBA
某支球隊的總教練。

But first Laimbeer must do the grunt work -- toiling as an NBA assistant
coach, carrying the clipboard and re-learning the NBA game and its players.
He wouldn't have left the Shock unless he was certain he had an NBA
assistant's job waiting.
但是他的第一關得先從NBA的助理教練幹起，拿著夾板開始重新學習NBA的比賽與認識聯盟
中的球員們。他不可能在還沒得到NBA的助理教練職務offer前就跟震動隊說掰掰。

Don't for a second think that Laimbeer made his move because he believes he
has a chance at getting the job he desires most -- coach of the Pistons.
There are genuine concerns regarding Michael Curry's future, but he isn't
doomed to fail yet.
先別肖想藍象會馬上得到他心目中最希望的頭路---底特律的總教練。
只要憨咖還在位一天，只要他還沒有真的被蓋上「Failed」的戳印之前...

Laimbeer enjoyed immense success as a WNBA coach -- three league
championships and more playoff wins (27) and finals wins (10) than any coach
in league history.
藍象很享受擔任震動總教練期間的豐碩成功，曾率領這支球隊拿下3度總冠軍。執教期間
他還留下了幾項WNBA目前最高的教練紀錄，包含季後賽勝場數最高(27場)、總冠軍賽勝場
最高(10場)。

He brought a familiar, fiery face to the Shock when he took over in June
2002, following a 0-10 start. But more important, he instilled a fiery,
determined attitude in the players.
當他2002年接掌震動隊兵符時，那時戰績是超難看的0勝10負。但更重要的是，他讓這支球
隊起死回生，而且把「態度」灌輸給球員們。

The Shock went from worst to first in 2003, winning the first of three WNBA
championships under Laimbeer -- including last year's title.
2003年震動隊從渣渣隊瞬間變成真強者，拿下了隊史第一座WNBA總冠軍。包含去年的那座金
盃，震動隊已經拿過三次總冠軍了。

Still, it would be a disaster if he went straight from the WNBA to an NBA
head-coaching post.
當然，假如他某天真的執教了某支NBA的球隊。
他在WNBA的這段成功經驗不一定能完全成功地複製到NBA來。

He'll get his chance some day. But first he has to do the dirty work.
但總有一天，他會得到機會。 但是他還是得從骯髒活開始幹起。
