For openers, offense flows, defense works

Dwayne Wade couldn't do anything but laugh Monday night.

The Heat star had just taken an outlet pass and was going to glide in for an
emphatic dunk late in the second quarter of the exhibition opener for the
Pistons and Heat.
在第二節快結束前，他接到了隊友一記長傳，眼看又要是一個十大好球......
But midway through the glide, Pistons rookie Austin Daye came over to block
the dunk and knock it out of bounds, eliciting a cheer from the sparse Palace
crowd.

Pistons coach John Kuester grinned when asked about the play afterward,
saying Wade's reaction showed his class. Kuester remarked how Daye and his
fellow members of the Pistons' draft class -- Jonas Jerebko and DaJuan
Summers -- will compete against anybody and doesn't really realize when they
are going against a superstar.

you're in the preseason, but I was very proud of a lot of the guys with the

On offense, the ball movement was noticeable -- leading to open looks. The
good execution also put the Pistons in good offensive rebounding position as
