After being called for an offensive foul midway through the
third quarter and the Pistons trailing by four points, Rasheed Wallace
decided to release his inner 'Sheed against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday
night.
在第三節中段Sheed被吹了進攻犯規，他決定燃燒"Sheed"小宇宙來對抗馬刺。

After getting his customary technical for arguing the call, Wallace scored 15
points over the last 18 minutes and took on the challenge of clamping down on
superstar Tim Duncan on his way to leading the Pistons to an 89-77 victory
before a stunned AT&T Center crowd.

The Pistons (11-6), 7-6 since Allen Iverson joined the lineup, got some
much-needed confidence.

"Bottom line, we know how it's going to be, especially going against some
league darlings," said Wallace, who finished with 19 points and five
rebounds. "We know how it is, we should have played that hard from the
(start) and we wouldn't have that deficit.

Detroit fell behind by 10 points, but Wallace started nailing three-pointers,
and Rodney Stuckey and Arron Afflalo started bottling up the dangerous
backcourt of Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker.

Wallace would nail four triples during his scoring binge, and Stuckey and
Afflalo used their superior size and strength to keep the penetrating duo out
of the paint.

The Pistons took the lead for good on a Wallace three-pointer with 7:44 left,
and his triple with 3:26 left gave the Pistons an 81-70 edge, and the fans
started heading for the exits.

9-for-16 shooting.

But Wallace asserted himself in the fourth quarter, showing quickness in
taking away Duncan's drives and making him shoot over his long arms.

Wallace tried to deflect attention and credited center Kwame Brown, who
guarded Duncan for a good part of the game, and the guards who would come
down and pester Duncan as he began to make his move.

"It ain't easy, it's just playing," Wallace said. "I can't take all the
credit for it because Kwame did a good job as well, and the guards did a good
job digging to keep him uncomfortable.

It was the best game the Pistons played since beating the Lakers on Nov. 14.

The team was able to get good shots, shoot 50% and get a balanced scoring
effort from Tayshaun Prince (15 points, 12 rebounds), Iverson (19 points),
Rip Hamilton (16 points) and Stuckey (10 points).
團隊的命中率高達50%，並且得分十分平均。Prince得了15分12籃板、AI得了19分、RIP
得了16分、Stuckey得了10分。

Also, the Spurs (9-8) are a very good pick-and-roll team, and the Pistons,
who have struggled defending the play, held them to 39%.

After the game, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich called out his team.
賽後，馬刺教練Popovich說。

"The most disturbing thing is that we were very soft," he said. "I think
Detroit intimidated us. I think they ran us all over the court with their
aggressiveness and physicality."
