Michael Curry isn't getting fired.
Not this year and probably not next year.

Joe Dumars isn't going to do to Curry what Steve Kerr did to
Terry Porter in Phoenix. He's not going to scapegoat him. This
mess here is as much on the players as it is on Curry and it's
going to be cleaned up collectively, or not at all.
JD不會對咖哩作出Kerr在太陽對波波作的事。
他不會讓他一個人擔這筆帳。這團餿水是球員跟咖哩一起搞出來的，
所以必須一起解決。

Has Dumars been thrilled with everything Curry has done? Absolutely
not. The two talk daily and Dumars isn't shy about expressing his
concerns. But at the same time, Dumars is keeping a respectful
distance. He doesn't want to give the appearance that he is
coaching the team -- which he clearly isn't. He didn't interfere
with the decision to bring Richard Hamilton off the bench.
He let Curry handle that on his own. Dumars didn't speak to
the team about the embarrassment in Cleveland Sunday. He's
letting Curry handle the fallout from that. Dumars is treating
Curry much like Curry is treating Rodney Stuckey -- like throwing
a kid in a pool so he can learn how to swim. There are lessons to
be learned, hard lessons, and the only way they can be learned is
by going through it and taking the lumps.
JD對於咖哩所作所為感到快樂嗎？怎麼可能！
在他的兩次訪談裡他完全不迴避的表示他的隱憂，
但是同時他保持了一個尊敬的距離。
他不想介入太多讓人感覺是他的指示，畢竟他不是教練。
他沒有干涉Rip被丟到板凳上的決定，一切都讓咖哩去決定。
關於球隊被騎士在星期日(!)被羞辱JD沒有跟球隊說什麼，他讓咖哩去解決。
JD對於咖哩的態度跟咖哩對於Stuckey的態度是一樣的：把小鬼丟到水裡讓他溺死...
咳咳...讓他學會游泳才對...
有些課是要被學習的，而唯一能夠學會的方式就是透過失敗一起克服困難。

This became a transition season on Nov. 3, when Dumars sent Chauncey
Billups to Denver for Allen Iverson. Dumars isn't going to pull the
plug on the coach he hand-picked in the first year of that transition.
Especially when a couple of the players -- Iverson and Sheed -- might
be gone next season anyway.
自從11/3把BibibiBillups拿去換AI這一季就變成了一個轉換(過度)的一季。
對於這轉換期JD不會對於他親手精挑系選的菜鳥教練拔插頭...
尤其是一些球員(AI,Sheed)明年(可能)也不會在嚕~

On top of that, the Pistons are still paying Flip Saunders some $5
million this year in addition to Curry's salary. They aren't going
to pay a third coach this year, then still have two more on the
books next season. Forget about it.
還有還有活塞隊除了咖哩的薪水還得付老桑的五百萬薪水。
他們不會再花錢付第三個教練的...然後明年也還得付兩個教練的錢...
