There were different opinions among the Pistons about what went wrong after the
latest loss.
在吞下這場敗仗後，活塞對於哪些地方出了問題有些不同的看法。

The Houston Rockets  carved up the Pistons' defense in the first quarter,
shooting 15-for-19 and leaving Detroit with a 108-105 loss at the Palace on
Sunday night.
在週日晚間，活塞於主場迎戰火箭。但第一節火箭便撕裂了活塞的防
守，並有高達15-19的命中率。終場以108-105力克活塞。

Pistons coach Michael Curry said the players weren't doing a good enough job of
protecting the interior and challenging the Rockets' three-point shooters.
咖哩認為我們的球員在保護禁區以及防守火箭的射手時做得不夠好。

In the first half, the players didn't know how to balance guarding forward Luis
Scola, who was cutting to the basket, and still guard the shooters.

"It was little bit of confusion in the beginning, but we pretty much figured it
out
in the second half, but by then it was too late," Pistons big man Rasheed
Wallace  said.

But it almost wasn't.

After falling behind as much as 15 points early in the fourth quarter, the
Pistons
had a chance to tie with 10.2 seconds left.

But Wallace rushed a well-guarded three-pointer and Arron Afflalo's last gasp
at
the buzzer was long. The Pistons dropped their seventh in nine games even
though the Rockets played without All-Star center Yao Ming , who has a sore
right knee.

The Rockets (28-17) were boosted by the return of Ron Artest (24 points) and
Tracy McGrady (15) from injuries.
火箭目前戰績28勝17敗，並且Artest(24分)、T-Mac(15分)已經歸隊。

And while Scola was 5-for-5 from the field (9-for-11 in the game) in the first
quarter, McGrady and Artest combined for 16 points as the Rockets jumped to a
39-27 lead after the first quarter.
當第一節Scola投5中5(整場比賽9-11的高命中率)，T-Mac與Artest也
聯手貢獻了16分，此時火箭已經讓比數拉開到39-27。

"We had defensive principles going in, and we didn't follow them through the
first four possessions, and they hit open shots and then when we started to
play
defense, guys had started making shots already," Pistons forward Tayshaun
Prince said.

The Pistons (24-19) battled back, taking a brief one-point lead in the third
quarter. But the team wasted many chances.

很多機會。

Allen Iverson, who scored 17 points, sat out the final 11 minutes.

It was the third home game in a row the Pistons have struggled defensively from
the outset. The Mavericks shot 66% in the first half in their romp over the
Pistons on Friday night at the Palace.
這是連續第三場在主場的比賽，活塞在賽初的防守就出了問題。週五晚
間在皇宮主場的比賽，小牛上半場高達66%的fg，大肆屠殺活塞。

"It's tough, because you would think at this point we would have found our way
and we haven't, so it was definitely unfortunate for us," Prince said.

其實並沒有。當然這對我們是不幸的消息。」

Rip Hamilton scored 27 points for the Pistons. Wallace had 22 points and 11
rebounds.
RIP拿下27分，狗屁拿下22分、11籃板。

Scola finished with 21, and Shane Battier and Rafer Alston each scored 14.
Scola最後拿下21分、Battier與Alston則分別拿下14分。
