The Pistons held Chauncey Billups out of practice Monday when he showed up “a
little bit sore,” Flip Saunders said. Nothing serious. Saunders said “maybe
one guy” would be held out of Tuesday’s home finale against Minnesota.

clinch the No. 1 seed in the West for them – they’d have to go to tiebreakers
since the teams split their regular-season series. The first tiebreaker is
record against teams within your own conference. Both teams are 36-15 in
conference games. The next tiebreaker is record against playoff teams within
your own conference.
