魔銳脫胎換骨了

BOSTON -- The Pistons had just defeated the Boston Celtics, 91-89, on a
last-second shot at TD Banknorth Garden, and minutes later most of the
Pistons were huddled around a small television set, watching the final
seconds of the Washington Wizards-Indiana Pacers game.
波士頓報導--在TD北岸花園球場，活塞用最後一擊以91-89的比數擊敗塞爾提克。
而數分鐘後，活塞球員們擠在一台小小的電視機前，緊張的看著巫師對溜馬最後幾
秒鐘的比賽。

When the Wizards won, officially making the Orlando Magic the Pistons'
first-round opponent, there wasn't much reaction. The players finished
getting dressed and headed to the team bus.
當巫師把這場勝利拿下來的同時，也正式宣告奧蘭多魔術會是季後賽活塞的第一輪
對手。大家的反應並不是很熱烈，紛紛轉身換裝然後魚貫上了球隊的巴士。

"Who cares?" guard Lindsey Hunter deadpanned. "It don't really matter. We
play who we play."
"誰在乎呢??"獵人面無表情的說，"反正兵來將擋水來土掩嘛。"

At least the Pistons will have some warm weather and Mickey Mouse.
至少，活塞可以去一個溫暖而且有米老鼠的地方打球。

The Pistons swept the regular season-series against the Magic, including a
22-point thumping in late February. Chauncey Billups averaged 26 points
against Orlando this season, while Magic big man Dwight Howard averaged 20.7
and 13.5 rebounds against the Pistons.
季賽中活塞橫掃魔術，包括二月下旬一場勝分差22分的比賽。槍蜥與魔術的對戰中

But Hunter doesn't buy into that stuff.

and play. We know who we're playing now and we have to be focused and take
care of business."

The Pistons did just that in their regular-season finale.

But who says there's no excitement in meaningless games?

The Garden was packed. Fans were on their feet. The game was tied at 89 with
3.9 seconds remaining.
花園被塞爆了，所有的球迷都站起來了。因為比賽在最後3.9秒的時候，比數來到
89-89。

Guard Ronald (Flip) Murray sped the ball up the court and then calmly drained
a short jumper with one-tenth of a second left.

"I was the first option, I called for it," said Murray, who finished with 16
points. "I tried to get an (isolation) up top and see if I could make
something happen. Got a chance to go to the basket, got a good look at the
basket and just let it go. It went down for me."

Second-year forward Amir Johnson had another solid outing. He scored a game-
and career-high 20 points on 10-for-14 shooting to go along with a
career-high 12 rebounds and four blocked shots.

籃板4客麻辣鍋。

"I felt real great, man," Johnson said. "I've just been working hard in and
out the gym and it really pays off, man. It felt really good playing. Really,
I just wanted to play hard and play like it's my last game."
"我超爽的!!!"小強森說，"我很認真的在準備，不管是在體育場內外，而有努力...真的
 有收穫耶。這場比賽打起來真的很爽。真的，我只想用心打球，把他當作我最後一場
 比賽來打。"(拜託不要烏鴉嘴，好好打很重要，但是不要隨便就最後一場吧!!)

The Pistons almost had a scare early in the fourth quarter when forward
Carlos Delfino remained on the floor holding his right ankle after attempting
a lay-up. Team strength and conditioning coach Arnie Kander said Delfino
suffered a sprained right ankle and will be fine for the playoffs.
活塞第四節初的時候被嚇出一身冷汗，Delfino在一個上籃之後，坐在地上而且緊緊抓
著他的腳踝。隊醫阿尼說Delfino右腳踝不幸扭傷了，不過好消息是季後賽前就會好了。

袋鼠對Amir的讚許

Players have been saying all week how impressed they have been with
Johnson’s willingness to listen to their advice on how to become a
better player.
球員們這整個星期都對小強森專心聆聽他們的意見並努力成為一個更好的球員
這件事而議論紛紛。

“That’s a good thing about him,” said Detroit’s Antonio McDyess.
“He’s not hard-headed like some guys. Not on this team, but on any
  team.”
"這對他而言是件好事，"袋鼠說，"他腦袋很靈活，不會像其他人一樣傻傻的。
至少在這球隊裡的時候沒有發生這種狀況。"

Said Johnson: “I just go out there and try to play as hard as I can.
That’s what the old guys (veterans) tell me.”
小強森說"我只是上場，然後盡我的全力去打球而已。這就是那些老傢伙們跟我
說的。"

And because of that, the 6-foot-9 forward is making the kind of
impression that he hopes will carry over into training camp next
season, and eventually lead to a regular spot in the Pistons’ rotation.
而也就是因為這樣，這個六呎九吋的前鋒給人一種他將會帶著希望進入明年的訓
練營，然後成為活塞輪替名單裡固定的一員。

“He’s got all the talent in the world,” McDyess added. “He’s one
of the most athletic guys I ever played with. A couple more years,
he’s going to be tough, playing a lot of minutes and helping this
ball club.
"他擁有絕佳的天賦，"袋鼠附註，"他是我遇過最有活力的球員之一，再練個兩三
年，他就會變的很猛，佔據很多上場時間，而且對球隊做出很多貢獻。"
