The wives and children of the Pistons must be feeling a little neglected.
Riding a six-game playoff winning streak, those players are redefining the term
"one-track mind."
    活塞球員的老婆和孩子們一定會有一點被忽略了的感覺。乘著季後賽這一波六連勝，
那些球員正在重新為"心無旁鶩"這個詞下定義。

The Pistons' focus is so laser-like, they're literally taking the games home
with them.
    活塞的焦點如同雷射般集中，他們逐一地將比賽勝利帶回家。

On Monday night, after a smashing Game 2, Pistons center Chris Webber headed
home armed with film. He stayed up until the wee hours, watching his 22-point
performance in the team's 21-point win.

"During the season, I take home tapes, and I would probably watch them the next

single-minded focus of these players, they'd be sitting on a fortune.

it ever came with an off button.

"With what's at stake right now, you can't just think about it when you come to
the gym," point guard Chauncey Billups said. "You've got to carry it home with
you."

It would be understandable if a battle-tested team such as the Pistons grew
bored during the regular season. But to their credit, they won the No.1 seed
despite sometimes relying on flipping the switch. And all along, they
maintained that they would focus properly when the time came.

doubt that this team not only can win the NBA title but should be considered
the front-runner.

That's the last time the Pistons won a title. And to this point in the playoffs
, this 2007 squad has been better.

I don't buy that the first-round series against Orlando was boring or that
nothing was accomplished during the sweep. Dwight Howard is an All-Star, Grant
Hill played like one and the Magic hung in games better than the Bulls have.

The Pistons were just that much better -- their play alone made the series fun
to watch.

Keep in mind, though, that the Bulls are a dynamic team. Ben Gordon, Kirk
Hinrich and Luol Deng will be one of the East's best backcourts for years to
come. They shouldn't be dismissed because of two blowouts.

The fact that they are a solid team makes the Pistons' dominance that much more

In the last two days, the Pistons' focus hasn't wavered. The starters have
lingered after practice to take extra shots. They have said the right things,
maintaining that they expect a much better effort from the Bulls tonight at the
United Center, where Chicago went 31-10 during the regular season.

Most telling of all, the Pistons haven't reveled in the success they've had.

"That's hard for me to digest," Webber said. "I take enjoying with being
complacent. So I really don't enjoy it."

Instead, they breathe, sleep and eat basketball. The Pistons even cater the
practices, giving players no reason to run for the door when a hunger pang
strikes.

場供應伙食，讓球員們在肚子餓得咕嚕咕嚕叫時可以就近補充體力。

"It's knowing the little details of the game," Billups said. "Not just coming
and saying, 'OK, we're going to beat that team,' but knowing every single facet
of the game, knowing how we're going to beat them and why we're going to do
this, and why we're going to play this guy like that.

Well, not quite far enough. That's what has changed. The Pistons won't relax
until there's no basketball left to play.

And at that point, they expect nothing less than to be holding a trophy in the
air.
