AUBURN HILLS -- If you want to know why the Pistons have struggled through the
first two games of the Eastern Conference finals, look no further than Tayshaun
Prince.
    奧本山訊 -- 如果你想知道為什麼活塞在東區冠軍戰前兩場比賽打得這麼辛苦，只消
看一下小王子就可明瞭。

Prince might not get all the headlines and hasn't made an All-Star team yet,
but he's a big part of what makes this team go on both ends.

While Prince has done a solid job defensively, it has been a rough ride when it
comes to his offense.

Coming into the fourth quarter of Game 2 on Thursday night at The Palace,
Prince was en route to another bad night shooting the basketball. He finished
with just one point on 0-for-8 shooting from the field and now is a woeful
1-for-19 in this best-of-seven series.

Some thought the announcement on Wednesday that Prince was named to the USA
Basketball Men's Senior National Team Program, a huge honor, would serve as
motivation to play a lot better than in Game 1.

至高無上的榮譽可以做為一個讓小王子打得比第一場更好的動力。

But it just didn't happen. Instead, Prince was nowhere to be found in the
Pistons' second straight dogfight against the pesky Cleveland Cavaliers.
Nonetheless, the Pistons, fueled by their defense, scored a 79-76 victory
before a sellout crowd at The Palace.

Coming into this series, you knew Prince would have his hands full trying to
guard LeBron James, a big-time job in itself. Prince got a lot of credit in
Game 1 for holding James to just 10 points and his presence probably had
something to do with the fact that James, despite getting to the rim, passed on
a shot in the waning seconds Monday.
    進入這個系列賽，你們知道小王子一定會拼盡全力防堵LBJ，這本身就是一件極為艱難
的任務。小王子在第一場比賽將LBJ壓制到只得10分的表現得到許多讚賞，而且他亦步亦趨

In Game 2, Prince was able to hold James to just 19 points on 7-of-19 shooting
from the field. So much energy goes into guarding James because he can score so
many ways.
    第二場比賽在小王子的"照顧"之下，LBJ的表現依然在水準之下，全場19投7中拿下19
分。因為LBJ得分手段非常全面，想要防守他就必須付出非常非常多的體力。

"He's done a tremendous job," Lindsey Hunter said about Prince. "He is kind of
beat up right now, kind of tired.

"But he has done a great job contesting LeBron, making everything hard for him,
fighting through picks, fighting through screens. It's a tough job, but he has
done a great job."

Prince has been down this road before and still was able to contribute

In past postseasons, Prince has had to guard Reggie Miller and Kobe Bryant.

Here, Prince, the workhorse of his team, just seems to be out of gas
offensively. A lot of his shots have come up short.

His poor shooting was pretty shocking because Prince came up big in Game 6
against the Bulls. He was a big reason why the Pistons were able to close that
series on the road. Prince had three huge baskets down the stretch to seal the
victory, including a follow slam and two hook shots.
    因為小王子在面對公牛的第六場比賽表現得相當精采，所以他的貧投讓許多人感到震
撼。他是活塞能在客場結束那個系列賽的主要原因。小王子在關鍵時刻的三次得分，包括

In the fourth quarter, with the Pistons up 74-71 and 4:19 left, Prince had
another chance to give the Pistons a much-needed basket. But he missed on a
shot in the lane. "My shot didn't feel good tonight," Prince said. "It didn't
at all.

The Pistons, of course, needed Prince's defense. But these first two games
would have been a lot easier if Prince could have played offense the way he
played defense.

出色的表現，活塞就不需要打得如此辛苦了。
