AUBURN HILLS -- You would think it is a statistical anomaly, but Chauncey
Billups hasn't been able to shoot straight against the Cavaliers.
    奧本山訊 -- 你會認為這是統計數據出現異常，但槍蜥在對上克里夫蘭騎士時的投籃

He shot 33 percent against them during the regular season, 37.7 percent during
the playoffs last year and 34 percent in 2005-06.

"I don't have no theories on that," he said. "Hopefully, it won't continue."

The Pistons hope it doesn't. Last season, Billups was guarded primarily by Eric
Snow, a strong, physical defender. Snow is coming off the bench now. Larry
Hughes, who is taller (6-foot-5) and more slender than Snow, will be Billups'
primary defender.

"The situation he's gone through, and how he's handled himself the last two

nugget and give them an opportunity if it comes across."

Hitting the glass


The Cavaliers, the best rebounding team in the NBA during the regular season,
have outrebounded their first two opponents by 7.4 per game. The Pistons,
though, had a 166-163 edge on them during the regular season.
    例行賽期間，籃板數據冠於全NBA的騎士在季後賽前兩輪平均籃板數比對手多上7.4個
。不過活塞在例行賽期間與騎士的對戰中，籃板總數仍以166比163小勝。

In the one Cavaliers victory, they had 20 second-chance points.

"Our zone is different," Saunders said. "It's a match-up zone. A lot of zones
have zone rebounding responsibilities. In our zone, we have man rebounding
responsibilities. Where we get hurt sometimes is on long rebounds. Our guards
have to dig down and get those."

don't want to get ahead of ourselves. That's a bad disease. We did that against
the Bulls and you saw what happened."

Saunders, on exploiting the Cavaliers' lack of a true point guard: "The

it goes into (LeBron James ') hands more."
