He's smiling now.
他現在笑得很燦爛。
No one has had to tell Carlos Arroyo to flash those pearly whites. But more
often this season than last, Arroyo has been seen with a smile on his face
whenever he's on the court.
沒人要求C.Arroyo把他潔白的牙齒給露出來，但比起上個球季，不論是否在場上，他

And there's a good reason why.

"It's a very different year for me," Arroyo said Wednesday. "It's more relaxing

You could've sensed that was coming once the Pistons brought in Flip Saunders
as head coach. But it's not that Arroyo had a vendetta against former coach
Larry Brown. It's just that Brown and Saunders have contrasting offensive
philosophies, and Arroyo has been more comfortable and effective in Saunders'
system.

That was most evident in the Pistons' 115-100 victory over Boston on Tuesday
night, which extended their start to 7-0.

After Chauncey Billups shredded the Celtics for 17 points in the third quarter
to get the Pistons back in the game, Arroyo provided another spark in the
fourth, when he had four points, four assists and two steals.

His jumper with 10:09 left gave the Pistons their first lead, 82-81, since the
last minute of the first quarter. Then Arroyo forced two turnovers. Later, he
did something on a fast break that Brown would have disapproved of last season
-- Arroyo slammed on the breaks and pulled up for a jumper. And made it.

points and assists weren't season highs, but it was by far his best all-around

Pistons' three rookies, that's exactly how this season has panned out.

Three days ago, Saunders and his staff administered written exams for rookies
Amir Johnson, Alex Acker and Jason Maxiell. Since there's limited playing time
for the youngsters, the coaches want to make sure they knew their X's and O's.

Maxiell said the exams consisted of about eight questions.
Maxiell表示那些測驗大概是由8個問題所組成。
"You've got to listen during the game so you can catch stuff," said Maxiell,
who went through the same thing on the University of Cincinnati basketball team
. On the most recent test, Maxiell said he scored "about a 90."
在辛辛那提大學打籃球校隊期間就接受過同樣測驗的Maxiell說"你在比賽時必須注意
聽講並注意場上球員的一舉一動，你才有辦法回答那些問題。"最近幾次小考，Maxiell表
示他得到"90分左右"。
And all the exams have been graded. Did anyone flunk?

"Don't ask me about the grades," Saunders said.
