AUBURN HILLS-- The Pistons' offense has been so efficient, so potent,
it almost seems too good to be true -- like some kind of mirage.

It would be hard to argue after the Pistons' 114-point outburst against
Denver Wednesday. The Pistons had 36 assists (11 by Billups) on 43
baskets.That's the highest team assist total in the NBA this season,
and the most by the Pistons since they distributed 38 against Chicago
back on April 1, 1999.

Add to that the fact that the scoring numbers are down for

four rebounds in the fourth.

Last time I talked about free throws I went 2 for 9."
