SALT LAKE CITY - Catching up with the two-time Eastern Conference champion
Detroit Pistons was the focus for both Miami and Indiana when the season began.

days.

reasons," and was immediately replaced by team president Pat Riley who hinted

team. Indiana is even more unstable with troubled all-star Ron Artest telling
the media at the end of last week that he wanted to be traded before mentioning
it to the people who can actually make a trade happen -the Pacers front-office.

There was no pre-game hug or embrace between Carlos Arroyo and his former coach
in Utah, Jerry Sloan.

the free throw line in Detroit's last three games. After the loss, Prince said
his poor free throw shooting on Monday - he missed all four of his free throw
attempts - set Monday's loss into motion.
