Goggled Wallace sees way past Kings

AUBURN HILLS-- Ben Wallace was back and he was wearing red goggles.
"He looked like Blankman," Chauncey Billups joked,
referring to the old Damon Wayans movie.
"I don't know what that was about."
Well, according to Wallace, it was about energy.
"Magic glasses," Wallace joked. "They bring energy."

but Wallace's energy lasted the entire night
and helped propel the Pistons to a 109-98 romp past
the Sacramento Kings, who had won three straight
before coming into The Palace on Wednesday.

and I knew that was a career high, and I knew I wasn't going to be
in the game much longer. So I started calling Rip's play.

The Pistons heard Wallace's message.
"Ben doesn't speak that much, so when he does, we listen,"
Billups said.

The Pistons are 16-3 and haven't lost consecutive games all season.
They have had 100 or more points in all seven home games.

without as basket for a 9:18 span of the first half,
