AUBURN HILLS-- Despite the Pistons' NBA-best 23-3 record, fans and analysts
continue to search for flaws.

Raptors.

"I thought that McDyess and Evans played extremely well," Pistons coach Flip

McDyess was hitting his favorite jumper from the corner and getting some
scrappy rebounds. He had 12 rebounds, along with four assists and a steal.

"My legs are starting to get back under me," McDyess said. "I'm getting my
rhythm back and I'm just going out there to play.Not really thinking about it."

Evans took over in the second half, scoring eight points. He showed a little
bit of everything, with some jumpers and dunks.

20.3.

Ben Wallace took a hard accidental hit from Chris Bosh in the third quarter.
The blow bloodied his upper lip.

Wallace required five stitches on the inside of his lip to close the wound, but
is expected to play against the Heat on Thursday.

"He took a couple of hits both on the face and in the head, I thought it was
best for us not to take any chances if we didn't have to," Saunders said,
explaining his decision to take Wallace out to stay after the injury. "He's
going to get enough punishment, hits and bruises on our next game (facing
Shaquille O'Neal). He's a pretty resilient guy, but still, you don't want to
see that."
    班蛙受傷後未再度上場，Saunders解釋道"他臉部及頭部受到數次重擊，我想我們除非
必要，最好不要冒險(再派他上場)。他受到的傷害夠多了，下一場面對歐肥還有更多的重

The damage was apparent after the game. Wallace had blood on his jersey and a
swollen lip. He did not speak to the media.

He tied the record Tuesday against the Pistons. Peterson is expected to share
the record with injured Raptor Alvin Williams for less than 24 hours, breaking
it today in the Raptors' game against the Hawks.

and basketball teammate in 1973-74 at the University of Minnesota.

Dungy's 18-year-old son, James, was found dead of an apparent suicide on Dec.
22. The Dungy family laid him to rest Tuesday in Tampa, Fla.

帕灣。

Dungy quit the Gophers basketball team after his first year to concentrate on
football, but his friendship with Saunders has endured.

Saunders said he's going to wait to contact Dungy.
