After disposing of Charlotte and Boston over the holiday weekend, the 30-5
Pistons have shown they still can get up for the league's bottom-feeders and
keep their focus during the snoozer portion of their schedule.

After tonight, the Pistons travel to New York on Thursday and play host to

The Pistons' next two opponents will bring reunions of sorts. Hawks coach Mike
Woodson and the Knicks' Larry Brown were on the same staff that helped bring
the NBA championship to Detroit in 2004.

But these have been tough times for Woodson and Brown.

The Hawks, who are a league-worst 10-26, finally showed a pulse Monday by
snapping a four-game losing streak with a victory over Houston. New York,
meanwhile, has surfaced from the depths of the Eastern Conference by winning
six of its last 10. At least for the last two weeks, Brown has the 13-23 Knicks
playing "the right way."

Although the Hawks might not be contending for anything but pride at the
moment, they do have players who can cause trouble, namely guard Joe Johnson
and forward Al Harrington, and the Knicks have many solid rookies.

Inexperience mixed with selfishness has made the Hawks and Knicks the opposites
of Detroit.

"The thing about young players, whether it's coaching or not, is that young
players are always going to start out the same way -- they play hard and they
play," coach Flip Saunders said. "That's who they are. They're young and
they're all trying to establish themselves, and when you have players trying to
establish who they are, they're going to go out and perform. Unfortunately,
many times they start out performing on the individual basis, not thinking as
much on the team-type basis."

NIGHT AND DAY: Tuesday's Pistons corner should have said that Detroit -- 2-1 in
matinee games -- had five afternoon games left this season. They are Feb. 12 at
Miami, Feb. 26 vs. Cleveland, March 26 vs. New Jersey, April 2 vs. Phoenix and
April 9 vs. Indiana.

作者雜談：
因為同學是死忠尼克迷，加上某個外系朋友長的像尼克的David Lee....XD
所以我有特別注意他們的表現，來談談尼克2006的關鍵"金三小"。
Frye值得注意，甫在季初即有優秀成績，
看來新秀隊大前不是他就是暴龍的比克先生了。
Lee則是新秀籃板魔人，抓籃板能力一流，且爆發力還不錯。
但是防守就還好。
Robinson擁有可怕的跳躍能力與速度，組織能力倒是普通，
不過似乎可以放掉他的三分球XD。
