Houston Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy gave much praise
to the consistent play of Rasheed Wallace and the way
he has fit in with Flip Saunders' flex offense.
休士頓火箭教練小范對溪蛙一致的表現和他融入老桑flex offense
的方式給予了更大的讚賞。
Wallace is averaging 15.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 41%
shooting from three-point range.

"He can do it from the post, he can do it from the pass,
he can do it with the long ball, and defensively, too,"
Van Gundy said. "I think he's been dominating."

Wallace had 11 points, seven rebounds and was 1-for-6 on
three-pointers inSunday's 99-97 victory over the Rockets.

While Van Gundy said Wallace deserves most of the credit
for his all-aroundgame, he also said playing in Saunders'
schemes has made him more dangerous.Van Gundy is familiar
with Saunders' philosophies from the Western Conferenceand
called his coaching style "simply complicating," later
noting that yes,it's an oxymoron.
Van Gundy also compared the way Saunders uses Wallace to
how he used Kevin Garnett while coaching in Minnesota.

Saunders knows where Van Gundy's coming from, but he also
pointed out thatWallace entered this season in better
shape and with a chip on his shoulderafter last season's
NBA Finals.

"But I think also we move him around a lot, we don't put
him in one spot,"Saunders said. "He's at the elbows, he's
at the high pick-and-roll, wingpick-and-roll, down on the
block, similar to K.G.

Where do we go from here? Saunders said the Pistonshave
remained consistent and have yet to have abreakdown in
any facet of their game.

But Saunders said he wants his team to avoid hittinga
roadblock before the All-Star break.

"Just the consistency -- continue to put in wrinkles
offensively and defensively to ... 'stimulate theirbrain'
a little bit and keep them a little bit on edgeand not
let them get almost too comfortable at thispoint," he said.

"The biggest thing I always say is when you go from

"You see a lot of teams playing pretty well. You think,
'Well, they're going to win that one,' and teams come inand
beat those teams. You're at the point where you don't think
