Q . What's the worst way your last name has been mispronounced?
Q . 你的姓在最慘的情況下被發成怎樣的音?
A . It was 1985, and I was named the Minnesota high school coach of the year.
That was a pretty big deal to me, I had my family and friends there at the
banquet. When it comes time for them to announce me, I was all excited, the
guy says, 'The 1985 Minnesota coach is … Dan Zeery.' Man. My buddies still
tease me about that today.
A . 事情素發生在1985當偶被聘請為明尼蘇達高中教練的那年.那對偶來說實在是太震撼
了.當時偶跟偶的家人和朋友們正在一個宴會上.當他們準備叫偶的名字的時候.偶hi
翻了.那狗猴死嬰仔居然說:"1985年明尼蘇達的教練將會是--剛 係利."老兄.那天
總素成為偶死黨們的消遣偶的笑料.
Q . Did you imagine going from being a high school coach 20 years ago to now
being in the NBA?
A . 嘿..剛係利.你有想過20年前還是高中教練的你如今成為NBA助理教練嗎?
A . Never in my wildest dreams. I've been really blessed. I've been at every
level and had success -- high school, college, CBA and now here.
A . 偶連夢都沒夢到過.偶大概素上天的寵兒吧.偶在每狗階段都獲得相當的成功.無論是
高中.大學.CBA還是現在.(接下來就是..嘿嘿..Flip..嘿嘿..)
Q . Do you ever dream some days of going back to being just a high school
coach again, less pressure, travel, etc.?
Q . 剛係利你有想過哪天再回去當高中教練嗎?少點壓力.旅個行..等等.
A . I did when I was in college, and then some of my buddies who are in high
school told me I didn't want to go back and deal with politics and parents.
So that's the best part here, I've got the best players. … We have agents,
but no parents.
A . 大學教練時期有想過.但是偶的高中死黨們告素偶:"你不會想回去高中搞些政治嘴砲.
應付那些囉哩叭嗦的家長吧?!"嗯..所以在這裡還素最棒的.偶有宇宙無敵世界強的球
員.偶們有經紀人.但沒有把拔碼麻們.
Q . Scariest movie you've ever seen?
Q . 剛係利你看過最驚聲的尖叫電影是啥?
A . I'm not a much of a scary movie guy. I tend to go for comedies.
A . 偶看過的不多.偶比較喜歡Jim Carrey.
Q . Yeah, but some comedies can be so bad they're scary.
Q . 是喔.但有些Jim Carrey也是挺驚聲尖叫的.
A . True. Very true.
A . 丟.丟.哩共ㄟ嚨丟.
Q . Worst snowstorm you've ever been in?
Q . 剛係利你曾經歷過最大的暴風雪??
A . It was like 1991 and me and Flip (Saunders) were in La Crosse, Wis., in
the CBA. We got hit like Oct. 31 with 15 inches of snow. And then two days
later, the town hadn't even shoveled out from the first storm, we got hit
with another two feet of snow.
A . 91年偶和Flip在威斯康辛州的La Crosse,CBA時期時.偶們被拔山倒樹而來的15英吋的
積雪攻擊.兩天後.第一次的雪還沒鏟完.剛係利老師卡好大水餃的又來一記2英尺的積

Q . That's horrible. I hope you guys canceled practice.

A . Oh, yeah. The town was totally shut down, and really, never recovered
that whole winter from that storm.
Q . 西底(阿你這不素魏延在講廢言).整狗城素都癱瘓了.說真的.那城素甚至尚未從那場
暴風雪中灰護正常.
Q . Best vacation?
Q . 最好的假期?
A . My wife (Anne) and I went to Cancun without our kids a while back. I
don't know if it was the location or not having the kids around and being
alone, but we had a really good time.
A . 偶和偶內人--安偷偷跑企Cancun的時候.偶不確定是因為那地點特優還素沒有小鬼在
旁邊的關係.總之王子和公主過著幸福快樂的日子.
Q . First car?

A . I was 16 and I had saved up for a light brown Buick Skylark.

Q . That's a stylin' car.
Q . 那是部亂屌的車車.
A . Totally, you're talking back in the early '70s. It had this piece of
white carpeting in the very back window that I thought was the coolest thing.
I was fly.
A . 完全正確.如果素在70年代初的時候.它有片白色地毯料的東東在後面窗戶上.偶想那
實在素酷翻了.偶達到天人合一的境界了.
Q . You don't exactly seem like a hip-hop guy. Yet you're around it a lot.
Any of it rub off?

A . I am the hip-hop guy on the staff. … You've got to remember, I grew up
in the '70s with Earth, Wind and Fire, and Parliament (Funkadelic), all those
great groups.

and Parliament (Funkadelic)那些天團的時代.
