首先登場的是金塊隊的Carmelo Anthony

”Rasheed is one of the nicest guys in the NBA off the court. When he’s on
the court he’s tough and he’s Rasheed Wallace. You can’t take nothing away
from that. I don’t really think he can be judged, though, in what he does on
the court and be considered a bad guy.”

‘Melo also said Rasheed is the Pistons’ most valuable player: “I think so.
Just what he brings. He’s versatile. He can shoot from the outside. He can
defend the big man, he can go down low. His game’s just versatile.”
Melo說在場外Sheed是NBA最好的人之一，不能因為他在場上的行為就被當成是壞人。
也認為Sheed是活塞的最有價值球員。

接下來問到太陽隊的Amare Stoudemire

On ‘Sheed being the Pistons MVP:

“He’s definitely close. I think Rasheed’s a great defensive player. I don’
t know if he gets enough credit for it, but he’s a solid defensive player.
Offensively, he’s very skilled. He’s probably one of the better skilled big
men out there. He’s a great player.”

On his emotion and if it gives ‘Sheed a bad rep:

“I don’t think it matters. As long as you be yourself out there and you
play with your passion, however your passion comes out let it come out. I
think that’s what makes you an individual.”
Amare認為Sheed攻守兩端的表現都很棒，也認為在場上最重要的就是要散發熱情。

接著是為Sheed抱不平的馬刺隊Tim Duncan

“There’s a lot of bad things that are said about Rasheed that are untrue.
But he’s passionate, he plays hard, he’s one heck of a player. That’s all.
That’s how I know him. I think everybody respects him. He’s a bit of a
hothead. I think he’ll admit that himself but you can’t argue with the kind
of teams he’s been on the past couple of years.”
Duncan認為Sheed也會承認自己有點暴躁，但很多關於Sheed的壞事都不是真的，他也
是個每個人都尊敬的熱血球員。

再來是金塊隊的Allen Iverson

On there being a misconception about Rasheed:

“People want to win. That’s it. You know, ‘Sheed is a great person, he’s
a great husband, he’s a great father, he’s a great family person. But
people don’t even know that about guys like that when they see him play
because they’re so competitive, they’re so into the game, they want to win
so bad, and you just get a misconception about people like that because of
their NBA game.”
AI說Sheed是個好男人，好丈夫，好爸爸，他只是太想贏球罷了，大家都誤會他了。

輪到對Sheed有滿滿讚賞的北卡學弟Antawn Jamison

“I know Rasheed. I know his family and things like that. You know, when
Rasheed is away from the game of basketball his personality’s more low key
than mine – laid back, a family man and things like that. You know, during
the course of basketball the emotions take over. I wouldn’t say it’s like
Doctor Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde but it’s definitely two totally different
personalities. But when he’s playing basketball that’s the personality that
you need. That’s the personality that’s gotten him to this point that he is
in his career. So I definitely think it’s a misconception as far as what
type of person he is because away from the game of basketball you couldn’t
find a more humble guy than anybody in this league, and Rasheed is one of
those guys that it just doesn’t bother him. He tries not to please everybody
all the time. But he’s definitely a good guy, definitely a guy I would love
in my corner and would love to play with as well.”
Jamison說Sheed在場外是個比他還低調的愛家男人，比聯盟任何人都還謙遜的人。但
在場上他的另一種完全不同的特質才能讓他變成那麼棒的球員。

On the North Carolina ties:
“When I came in he was just leaving with Stackhouse. But when I was at
Carolina he used to comeback every summer and take me underneath his wing and
show me the ropes and things like that and that’s how I got to know Rasheed
Wallace.”
雖然Jamison進北卡時Sheed已經離校，但他每個夏天都會回去教他們。

On how valuable Rasheed is:

“Yes. You take Rasheed Wallace off that team – they’re still a great and
quality team – but he’s the heart and soul of that team. He’s the
emotional leader they have. He’s the guy that’s going to get them ready
before every game and that means a lot in this game of basketball, and I
think that he’s definitely a big piece of that puzzle and he’s a reason why
that team is where they’re at right now.”
Sheed是球隊的心臟和靈魂啊，也是活塞拼圖非常重要的一塊。

Do you think Rasheed feed off the negativity?

“Uhh, honestly I don’t think it bothers him at all. I don’t think he uses
it as fuel for ammunition or I don’t think that it goes in one ear and out
the other. I just think that when he wakes up, that’s how he feels. That’s
Rasheed. That’s what you’re dealing with. But I don’t think it bothers him
that much at all.”
Jamison不認為Sheed是受到負面情況影響之後會大爆發的人。

最後輪到Sheed最在意的隊友--槍蜥

On whether Rasheed not wanting to be here, on top of his emotions getting the
best to him, does that lend to a misconception of ‘Sheed?

”One-hundred percent, 100%, man. People think that because he gets mad and
he goes off in a game and he speaks his mind that like he’s a thug, like he’
s a bad dude. That couldn’t be further from the truth about Rasheed. He’s
nowhere near a thug. He’s a family man. Once he steps outside that
rectangle, he’s totally different, totally different. But that’s cool. That
’s kind of the way he wants y’all to think. He don’t really care what y’
all really say or think about him. As long as the people that love him and
know him know who he is, that’s all he really cares about.”
Sheed跟暴徒差得遠呢，在場外他可是個愛家的男人。他才不在乎其他人怎麼想。只要
愛也的人，了解他的人了解他就夠了。
