Because he's come so far so fast, it's easy to lose perspective on Rodney
Stuckey.
You see him score a career-best 40 points against the Bulls, you see him just
seize control of the game and you think he's already an elite-level guard.

因為他來得太快，做得太好了，你很難不看到他那美好的未來。
看到他在對公牛的那一戰中得了生涯新高的40分，看到他掌握了比賽，你也覺得它是聯
盟中的其中一名精英級後衛了吧！

But Stuckey is just in his second season. He's been the full-time starting
point guard for just seven games. He hasn't lost sight of that, and neither
has Pistons coach Michael Curry.

但這只是他的第二個球季而已，當先發控衛的旅程也才剛開始，
他沒有忘記這件事，MC也沒有。（應該是指能在剛升上先發7場就可以適應得那麼好）

When asked where Stuckey was in the NBA's rich pantheon of talented young
point guards, Curry said, "I think there is Chris Paul, Deron Williams and
Devin Harris. Those guys have separated themselves with the years they've
been in the league and they are pushing the likes of Steve Nash, Tony Parker
and Chauncey Billups, the older point guards who have been all-stars.

被問到小史是不是已經成為一個明星級的後衛，MC說：『我覺得聯盟中最有天份的一群
應該就是CP3，蝶龍，Devin Harris，他們在隊伍中大展身手，同時也慢慢把聯盟中的焦點

"Stuckey is in a group with Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo -- kind of the
up-and-coming next group of guards. It's going to be interesting to see how
they all grow and mature as players. All three have different skill sets, but
all three have the kind of demeanor it takes to be very successful."

『小史是跟狀元郎玫瑰，駱駝眼Rondo同一個時代的人－下一代的好後衛們。看著他們

In the seven games Stuckey has started, he's averaging 18.4 points, 7.4
assists and is shooting 61.7 percent. But Stuckey continues to go about his
business as if he were still running the second unit. He's typically the last
to leave the practice facility on nongame days, and he still works out with
the reserves two hours before each game.

在小史先發的7場比賽中，他平均得到18.4分，7.4助攻還有61.7%的超高水準命中率(這
數據每篇新聞都講一遍，大家都會背了吧XD)，但他還是對自己要求很高地，在沒比賽的
時候，當最後鎖門的那位；也在每場比賽開始兩小時前，做一些有用的事。

"I just have to keep getting better, that's how I see it," Stuckey said.

『我只是希望讓自己無時無刻都能變得更強而已，那就是我對練習的執著。』小史說。

Stuckey won't play 42 minutes every night; he knows that. He won't be the
primary scorer on most nights; he knows that, too.

他不會每場比賽都打個42分鐘，他心裡明白。
他不會常常當隊上的主要得分手，他也了解。

"It's just about taking what the defense gives," he said. "If AI (Allen
Iverson) or Rip (Richard Hamilton), or Tay (Tayshaun Prince) or Sheed
(Rasheed Wallace) are open, I have to get them the ball. I just have to be
aggressive, attack and take my shot when it's there. It's all about reading
the play, that's all."

『看防守的怎麼防我，我就怎麼發揮囉～』小史說。『如果AI、RIP、小王子或是狗屁他
們有空檔，我自然就會給他們球。那天我表現得很有侵略性，拿下該拿的分數，其實這
只是看你解讀比賽的程度而已，差不多就這樣吧，嘿嘿。』

He also knows now, if he didn't before, that he not only has the ability to
take over games but he has the blessing of his teammates to do so.

小史也在比賽完時發現了一件事，他發現他不但有那樣的能力去掌握那場比賽，他也得到
隊友們的熱心幫助！

"Rip and Tay and those guys kept telling me to keep getting the ball,"
Stuckey said with a smile. "They wanted me to score 40. But it's just one
game. We have a lot more left to play, and I have to keep getting better."

『Rip跟小王子還有其他隊友們都一直跟我說："今天盡管要球吧XD"』小史笑著說。『他
們都希望我得個40分，但這只是一場比賽呀，我們還有很多很多要打，我也要變得更強才
行。』

Curry said he thinks the two days of rest -- the Pistons didn't practice
Wednesday nor will they today -- will be enough time to heal Iverson's
strained left groin.

活塞不在Christmas的前一天練習，也不在Christmas那一天練習。
MC覺得這樣的休息時間夠讓AI扭傷的左鼠蹊部復原了。

"We are hoping he will be ready to play against Oklahoma City Friday," Curry
said.
Iverson suffered the injury in the second quarter and tried to play through
it. He ultimately left early in the third quarter.

『我們都希望他能在對雷霆那一場之前復原並順利出賽。』MC說。
ＡＩ在第二節的時候受傷，從此感覺好痛好累，他在第三節就離場了。

Iverson finished with eight assists, but he was 0-for-7 from the floor in 24
minutes. The only other time Iverson failed to make at least one shot in a
game -- in more than 900 games counting playoffs -- was April 2, 1999. He was
0-for-7 in 12 minutes. He was benched in that game by coach Larry Brown . The
two exchanged words and Iverson refused to re-enter the game.

AI總共在24分鐘中交出了很好的8助攻，但不好的7投0中。他之前生涯中唯一的一次沒半個
field goal的紀錄是在1999年4月的時候發生的，那一場他只打了12分鐘，當時的教練是
布朗爺，他們有一些爭執，AI被換下場後就拒絕上場了。

And, on a side note, for those who think Stuckey's career-best 40-point
effort was due in part to the fact Iverson only played half the game, think
again.

還有，那些認為Stuckey得了40分，是因為AI只打了半場才多了一些出手權，才爆出來
，的人，再仔細想一遍吧。

It was Iverson who got Stuckey off and running. Of Stuckey's five
first-quarter baskets, Iverson assisted on four of them. Stuckey might not
have played as many minutes if Iverson didn't get hurt, but he was on his way
to a career night either way.

是AI讓小史跑起來的。
小史在第一節的前五個命中，AI就貢獻了四個助攻。
如果AI沒受傷，小史可能不會有那麼多上場時間，
但那是一個小史的夜晚，就算AI沒受傷，他一定也可以表現得那麼好的！
