RETIREMENT PLAN -- 退休計劃
The U.S. Pentagon recently found it had too many generals and offered
an early retirement bonus plan. They promised to any
general, who retired straight away, his full annual benefits and $10,000
for every inch measured in a straight line along the general's body
between any two points he chose.
美國五角大廈(譯註:代表國防部)近日發現太多將軍了,他們便提出了
提前退休獎勵計劃.馬上退休的人,他們允諾給予全額的年金,同時對
退休者身上任何兩點的直線距離,每英吋給予一萬美金.
The first general accepted. He asked the pension man to
measure from his outstretched hands to his legs. This was 6 feet. He
received a check for $720,000.
第一位將軍接受了.他要發放津貼的人從他伸長的手量到腳,有6英
呎.他拿到了七十二萬美金.
The second general asked them to measure from the
top of his head to the tip of his legs. This was 8 feet.
He received a check for $960,000.
第二位將軍要求從他的頭頂量到腳底,有八呎.他拿到了九十六萬
美金.
When the third general was asked where to measure, he
told the pension man, "From the tip of my penis to the tip of my balls."
The pension man said that would be fine but he'd better get the
Medical Officer to do the measuring.
第三位將軍被問到要從哪兒量時,他告訴發放津貼的人說,"從我老
二的頂端量到蛋蛋的底部."發放津貼的人說好,但他最好給軍醫量去.
The Medical Officer attended and asked the general to
drop his pants. So the general did. The Medical Officer placed the tape
on the tip of the?general's penis and began to measure. "My God!" he said,
"where are your balls?"
軍醫要將軍脫下褲子,他照做了軍醫將布尺定在將軍的老二頂端準
備要量時,"我的天!"他說,"你的蛋蛋呢?"
The general replied, "In Vietnam."
將軍答說:"在越南."
