The Rays recalled Joyce from Triple-A Durham after Saturday's game, the
team's official site reports.
Recommendation: Joyce hit .315/.408/.530 in 149 Durham at-bats with five home
runs, six steals and 27 RBI. Manager Joe Maddon said Joyce will play Sunday
and will be in the lineup as frequently as possible. The team sent Dale
Thayer to Durham to clear room on the active roster.
