B.J. Upton sat out Thursday and may miss Friday’s game. He had a bad
intestinal bug, and the Rays are concerned he might be more susceptible to
muscle pulls by being dehydrated.
Chad Bradford (right elbow surgery in February 2009) went on the
15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27. He is scheduled to start a
rehab assignment in early May, aiming for a late-May return to the Rays
