[閒聊] TES5主題曲翻譯

從英文版來的,
我當然不會講龍語...
在英文版中把"Dovahkin"翻譯成"For The King"
但我複製的這個版本是改成 Dragonborn
怕有人誤會特別註明...

再次重申，官方翻譯是"For The King"唷!

* 奧德炆, Alduin. 翻成奧德溫之類的感覺不太夠力.

* 其實 Dragonborn 應該只是龍裔，大龍裔就變成 Great Dragonborn 了;
  但頗符合歌曲的空耳, 所以就用這個詞.

* 「Foul Aldun's Maw」應該作邪惡 Alduin 的胃,
  但用胃……嗯……
　所以用了「喉」這個字, 請不要考試時寫錯了orz

* rival 對抗
  fiercest 勝利
  fair 公平, 又可作美麗的
  bay 海灣, 翻譯作「天外」是想詮釋出把惡魔趕出世界, 不過 TES 系列的怪物都是從
　　　海底上來的嗎?
  wage 工資 - 這邊我有些不太明白, 所以直接和 war 併譯成「戰爭」
　unfurled 打開 ( 可以做 open 之意, 也可作 開創 )
  kin 親屬
  wyrm 古龍

其實我不太確定
「Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray!」
到底是神bless龍裔還是龍裔bless人
但bless這個詞好像是神對人居多?
推 Odyseus:keep xxx at bay 應該是拒敵於外的意思...

推 JustinTW:網路上討論很多都是耳朵聽到For The King，但是聽得懂歌
→ JustinTW:辭的都嘛會跳出來說那是聽錯，事實上歌詞中大半是龍語。
→ JustinTW:話說回來，Keep...at bay字典應該是查得到的。
→ star123:1好吧...我承認我只翻譯bay沒想到那是個片語 orz
