Sox draft another Papelbon

Could lightning strike twice?

With pick No. 1443 of baseball旧 first-year player draft today, the Red Sox
selected Josh Papelbon from the University of North Florida. Josh is the
brother of Sox relief ace Jonathan Papelbon.

The 22-year-old Papelbon led the Ospreys with eight saves in the 2006 season
and led the team with 29 appearances, all coming in relief.

The 6-1, 210 pound reliever finished 2006 with a 4-3 record and a 2.81 ERA
over 41.2 innings of work. He became UNF旧 all-time saves leader on March 10,
saving a 2-1 UNF victory over Campbell for save No. 20 of his career.
Papelbon finished the season with 24 career saves.

Josh旧 identical twin brother Jeremy is also a pitcher for UNF.
