“Jacoby injured his right shoulder during yesterday’s game. An MRI was
performed and showed findings consistent with a
subluxed shoulder. We are in
the process of
gathering further information and determining the treatment
plan. Jacoby will be placed on the 15-day disabled list prior to today’s
game.”

accurate arm. Looks like he can play all three outfield spots. Good

"I think this move is a little premature to say he's ready to help with the
bat," Valentine said, hinting Boston would try to find a more permanent piece
to their outfield.
"Lin is on the roster in Jacoby's spot today to give us protection in the
outfield for the team," Valentine said.
"It's safe to say Lin is not on the
roster as a solution if Jacoby is out for a long time, but stranger things
have happened."

Jacoby being out. When I do get back I'm just going to play the way I've been
playing and not so much prove people wrong, but just get back to doing the
things I normally do. If I can do that will help the team."
