   Van Buren 是我們3A的Closer
   2W 3L ERA 1.98 and 25 saves
   05年球季末還上來觀光過

   結果被送去Red Sox for a player to be named later

   這已經是我們這個季末送出去的第二個上過MLB的3A投手了
   上一個是Leicester 送去Rangers for a player to be named later

   這兩個投手雖然不能說是超級新秀
   可是都可以算是ready, MLB的成績也都還可以
   為什麼Hendry要把他們就這樣丟出去?
   我們是新秀太多嗎?
   不是應該存起來換個大物???

   我真是超級搞不懂的...

Low-90s fastball, fine slider, side-arm herky-jerky motion, and these minor
league numbers…

Pringles Park, the home of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, plays very much like the
pitcher’s park, and the Southern League as a whole is a pitcher’s best friend
too. But Van Buren, a former Rockies top prospect, now 25 and just over a year
and a half removed from the Independent Leagues, has taken the same kind of
success to Iowa and the Pacific Coast League, which is very much hitter
friendly. With our bullpen in Chicago not exactly dependable, what’s not to
like? And what’s to lose? The flagrant underemployment of Sergio Mitre, who’s
thrown just 3 innings since the All-Star Break? Send him to Iowa, or preferably
elsewhere today via trade, anywhere where the innings will come thicker and
faster, and give Van Buren the shot that he deserves.

這是他AA和AAA的成績
Buren擁有低90英哩的快速球, 不錯的滑球, 詭異側投方式。。。
他在AA的時候 球場是個投手天堂 不過他到AAA打擊天堂的球場 還可以保持成績
最後一段大概是說Cubs應該怎麼用他之類的
這應該是個不錯的補強吧

現在紅襪的先發有Curt Schilling, Tim Wakefield, Josh Beckett, Jonathan Papelbon,
Matt Clement, Bronson Arroyo 六個不錯的先發 (最後三位其中一個也許會進牛棚會被
交易掉, 我個人是希望Papelbon可以留在Rotation)
中繼也有Timlin, Buren, Bradford, DiNardo, 波士頓記者很看好的Mota, and maybe
a fixed Foulke...
David Wells下一季 幾乎是確定不會留在Sox, 他的15勝已經靠Beckett補足了..
基本上投手應該沒什麼太大的問題 唯一可以挑剔的大概就是不確定有沒有一個真正的
Closer, 我想Foulke有機會可以回來(mentally and physically), Buren如果有過人的表
現也可能接下, 大不了就是Timlin again吧..
現在最希望席琳姐可以走出去年低潮..Keith Foulke不要在腦殘亂放話..

紅襪最大問題還是Trade Manny還有re-sign Damon..
Manny事先不用說, Damon的話WEEI的記者大部分都對下一季看到他持高度的信心..
