Lowell hit .500 with three doubles, a home run and 11 RBIs. During the past
series, a four-game sweep over the White Sox, Lowell went 10-for-19 with six
runs scored and seven RBIs. The 2007 reserve All-Star boosted his season
average to .323 and now has 17 home runs and 93 RBIs on the season.

Ortiz was equally impressive the past week, hitting .478 with three home
runs, two doubles, a triple and eight RBIs. He is now hitting .324 with 24
home runs and 87 RBIs on the season. In the second game of Friday's
doubleheader against the White Sox, the slugger went 4-for-5 with two home
runs, three RBIs and three runs.
