[心得] Throwback Vol.1

今天看到  就買下來了

感覺很特別的感覺

和以往的他們可以說完全不一樣吧

少了點 urban 的感覺 更 smooth 啦 也多了點 soul

重新詮釋示 70-80代的 R&B 曲目

歌詞內頁題到了 old skool, throwback 等等

但是 我卻想到以前在 Wu Tang CD 聽到的 Good Old Day

That's bring it back to tha good old day.

題外話 我愛老歌

我沒聽過平井堅的古老的大鐘啦

Grandfather's Clock 這首民謠一定比他的屌

12首舒舒服服的 一不小心還搖了起來

以下是我聽完這張專輯後 一些主觀的感覺

1. Let It Whip - orginally performed by Dazz Band

前奏前面的那幾下 remind me Outkast 的 i like "The Way You Move"

相當動感的一首歌 let's whip baby

2. Let's Stay Together - orginally performed by Al Green

loving you forever (let's stay together)

times are good or bad, happy or sad.

聽到這段歌詞 大家都會很熟悉吧

我直接想到哈林啦

3. What you won't do for love - orginally performed by Bobby Caldwell

Mc Lyte 添加了些許吸哈味道

and they may never find what they dream-of

好溫柔地 滑(音)了過去

4. Cutie Pie - orginally performed by One Way

直覺很 funky

那鋼琴讓我 想到之前MTV 常撥prince的一首mv

5. Close the Door - orginally performed by Teddy Pendergrass

有種會把情緒越拉越高的 feelin'

bring u higher and higher

6. For the Love of You - orginally performed by Isley Brother

比較 soulful 的一首歌 我想

舒舒服服的 feelin'

我想到 Cee-Lo green...is the soul machine 裡面 像 All Day Love Affair等等的歌

Cee-Lo 這張真的很 soul

7. Sara Smile - orginally performed by Hall & Oates

學到了一個新東西 Blue-Eyed Soul

介於 節奏藍調 和 靈魂樂

大多形容白人歌手

8. Human Nature - orginally performed by Michael Jackson

feat Claudette Ortiz

原曲出自 MJ 的 Thriller

用 acoustic 來詮釋這首歌

背景的鼓聲好 jungle 歐

9. Time Will Reveal - orginally performed by Debarge

高高低低的清唱

他們的拿手好戲

以為拉了上去又掉了下來

可以說一波未平一波又起嗎

10. I Miss You - orginally performed by Klymaxx

聽聽聯想到 Full Circle 的 The Color of Love

有種擁抱世界的衝動

11. You Make Me Feel Brand New - orginally performed by Stylistics

4年前就錄好的一首歌

前面30秒 我想到了 Marvin Gaye

後面2分鐘的地方 合音好 old 阿

受不了啦

12. Grandfather's Clock 美國民謠

好想也牽著爺爺

tick tock tick tock 走在鄉間小徑

.....................................................

發現了一些新東西

新公司 MSM music Group (第一次真的看成 MSN music Group)

Executive Producers : Nathan Morris PhD->這是啥阿

                      Shawn Stockman PhD

                      Wanya Morris PhD

                      Johnny Wright->很熟悉的名字但想不起來是誰

對了 少了拿柺杖的 Michael McCary

因為健康因素 ?@#%>_)*

這張幾乎是3人齊力完成 也是華研代理的

這部 55分:54秒 的老片

提供了想回去找尋 Good Old Day的人

一個指引吧
