Blazing Eternity來自北國丹麥
前身是Ancient Sadness
主唱是丹麥一隻Funeral Doom團的Black Wreath的鼓手兼主唱
兩名Session Musicians Kim Larsen(G), Anders Ro Nielsen(Kb)來頭不小
來自同鄉大名鼎鼎的Saturnus
Blazing Eternity玩的是Atmospheric Doom Metal/Rock
完全的清腔 輔以大量的空心吉他與鍵盤
有點像是再軟化的後期Saturnus
或是後期Aathema甚至Shame rain這樣的Depressive rock
金屬的成分不多 甚至Doom的成分微乎其微
陰鬱溫暖的氣氛導向卻也相當動聽
只可惜樂團在03年發了第二張專輯後就處於休團狀態
剛入手這張A world to drown in
推薦給喜愛中後期Anathema, Shame rain, Blackfiled, Antimatter
及Depressive/gothic rock的樂友
