“Abigail Williams是何許團也？“對多數樂迷，也許尚稱陌生。隨著2010年9月
釋出的次作《In the Absence of Light》；Abigail Williams這支堅實且強悍的旋律交
響式黑金樂團將帶給輿論和金屬迷一個明確的答案。
Abigail Williams選擇在俄亥俄州的克利夫蘭Conquistador Studio進行8首全新
曲目的錄音工程。再經由錄音師Cole Martine的引介，主唱兼吉他手Sorceron飛往瑞典
Black Lounge Studios，與知名製作人Peter Tagtgren（Dimmu Borgir、 Immortal、
Celtic Frost、Children Of Bodom）參詳專輯的後製及混音。

感。我們給自己更多的空間去撰寫這張專輯；一個比過去更為開放、自由的環境。這次進
錄音室對我們而言是自然而然地發生。錄音過程的輕鬆心境，反有助於捕捉一個真摯的氣
氛。“

Abigail Williams曾被評為是支“生不逢時”或“尚待觀查”的樂團。茁壯的過
程中，經歷諸多不平與逆境。甚至因團員陣容劇變，致使樂團於2007年解散。但無懼於這
一切橫逆，核心的成員保持著冷靜的頭腦和堅定的眼神，用無盡的熱情貫徹他們的信念
。2006年的EP《Legend》，2008年的首張正式專輯《In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns
》（後重新出版了豪華雙碟包裝）；合計至今於北美已有35000張的銷售額。秉持金屬原
始的開拓精神，樂團持續巡演將音樂宣傳出去、接近樂迷並結識旅程中的新朋友。
新作發行，Candlelight將以限量形式推出《In the Absence of Light》首發
Digipak版供死忠樂迷收藏。專輯視覺藝術編輯則邀請到插畫家Farron Kerzner執筆。
