有鑑於After Forever曾是我最愛的樂團
就花點時間來回一下好了～

當時Mark離團的時候
沒記錯的話AF官網當時很輕描淡寫
很官方說法的說因為創作理念不合 所以離團

不過在Mark很多篇訪談中都可以看出他當時很不爽
我記得當時看到的大多數報導都是指出
Mark和Sander在發完Decipher後為了第三張專輯的走向大吵一架
Mark想要的是維持前兩張的風格
Sander則是比較喜歡thrash和power metal的方向
樂團其他人被迫選邊站 最後結果很明顯的Sander贏了
所以Mark只好閃人

其實Mark和Sander都是很不錯也很有自己想法的吉他手
不過After Forever前兩張專輯大部分是由Mark主導
Sander認為自己真正的才能沒辦法好好發揮
他也想要取得樂團的領導地位
因此才跟Mark翻臉

Mark離團的前幾年對AF其他團員很不諒解
畢竟他在AF的時候
寫了大部分的歌 連鍵盤、唱詩班和弦樂團都是他編的
他認為他為貢獻這麼多
而在AF真正成功之後大家就把他給甩了 這樣會不爽也是正常

Epica第一張專輯的Run for a Fall就是在寫Mark對AF成員的不諒解
歌詞和我隨便亂翻的翻譯如下：

你們沒有發現這些年來在操控你們想法的那隻手
你們也沒有發現sand(這應該是影射Sander)將把你們帶向失敗

其實這首歌寫的還滿白的
可見當時Mark對他們有多不諒解
不過現在Mark和Sander現在應該已經和好了
去年Epica的新專輯還有請Sander跨刀一首歌
兩團也曾經同台演出過
不過我到現在還是覺得Mark離團真的很可惜
After Forever前兩張真的很棒
Epica雖然也是維持同樣的風格
Simone也算是個不錯的女主唱
但老實說Simone的實力跟Floor有段差距
雖然Simone這三張專輯以來一直有在進步
不過嗓子還是天生的
Floor的聲音有power又很亮
Simone的聲音則比較低沉 power更是輸一大截
唯一贏Floor的大概是長相吧 XD
