Avenged Sevenfold (七級煉獄) 的鼓手James Owen Sullivan
於2009/12/28在家中被人發現已無生命跡象
報告最後指出為自然死亡, 得年28歲.
看到消息我也整個很驚訝, 看來真的是天妒英才...
不久後A7X在Myspace上發表了一篇祝福他的文章
雖有萬般不捨 還是希望大家祝福Jimmy一路好走... R.I.P

JIMMY "THE REV" SULLIVAN
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing
today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's
best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our
thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will
respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.
We love you.

Jimmy是我很喜歡的鼓手之一 ...
包括他特別的長相跟聲音
身為A7X的鼓手與Back-up vocalist
不少單曲裡可以發現他的聲音
包括 "A Little Piece of Heaven", "Brompton Cocktail",
"Gunslinger", "Lost", "Afterlife" 與 "Almost Easy"
其中最令我印象深刻的是a little piece of heaven的一段
Must have stabbed him fifty fuckking times, I can't believe it.
Ripped his heart out right before his eyes,
eyes over easy. Eat it, eat it, eat it
搭起MV很有俏皮邪惡的味道, 非常有fu的一段
重播他們Live In The LBC的DVD
在Long Beach California把這首當作安可曲, 最後帶來的感觸...
如今某部份... 已成為絕響...
最後用這首Dear God紀念這位偉大的鼓手...
