同名於悲劇小說Of Mice and Men，是由離開Attack Attack!的Austin Carlile與Jaxin
Hall成立的，在俄亥俄州和樂團Though She Wrote錄製Demo曲《Seven Thousand Miles
for What?》，接著積極尋找團員，終於在南加州正式成立Of Mice & Men，首張專輯於
2010年的三月。
然而在同一年，主唱Austin Carlile因為心臟手術而無法參與Alesana的The Emptiness巡
迴，與團員陷入爭執，最後決定分道揚鑣，來自Sky Eats Airplane的Jerry Roush取代了
Carlile，相繼在八月Jaxin Hall也離開了團體。頓失了兩個樂團主力。
但創始團員的離開並沒有打倒他們。隨後，他們翻唱了Jamie Foxx的《Blame it》，收錄
在Punk Goes Pop 3。
2011年，隨著主唱Carlile的回來與其他成員的交替，整個樂團重新整合，錄製第二張專
輯《The Flood》，經歷風風雨雨，更加熟練與精進－新專輯《The Flood》要滾滾而來的
侵襲你的耳膜！
