[注1] Khem，埃及文「黑土」之意，古代對埃及的稱謂
[注2]本歌描述的是埃及第十八王朝法老阿肯納頓（Akhenaten）。他曾試圖進行
宗教改革，將埃及三個太陽神之一的阿頓（Aton），從原本不甚重要的地位，提
升為最高之神，甚至是唯一之神的地位。由於這違逆了埃及人原本對由最高太陽
神拉（Ra）與底比斯地方神阿蒙（Amon）合併的阿蒙－拉（Amon- Ra）神的崇
拜，以及多神信仰，最後以失敗告終。
阿肯納頓對阿頓的崇拜，被認為可能是世界上最早出現的一神教。
[注3]阿蒙（Amon），底比斯三柱神之一，後來隨底比斯的興盛而與太陽神拉組
合成為阿蒙－拉神，並成為埃及新王國時期的國神。
[注3]歐西里斯（Osiris），冥王，亦為農業之神。
[注4]艾西斯（Isis），歐西里斯的妻子，死者的守護神與生育之神。
[注5]托特（Thoth），智慧之神，負責守護文藝和書記的工作；他同時也是月亮、
數學、醫藥之神。

象徵黑暗，混亂與邪惡。有時拉會被祂吞沒，就會出現日食；當拉逃出，世界便
重現天日。
