私以為這首歌可能是在描寫蘇格蘭蓋爾族民間傳說中妖精Fideal，她出沒於蘆葦包圍的湖
畔，在薄霧的暮色中尋找著愛人。她的肌膚與吻都是冰冷的，擁抱著為她所誘惑的男性，
將他拉入水中。當他陳屍在冰冷的湖水深處，她則又再度回到湖畔，追尋著下一個愛人。
